I'm not promoting atheism of course. But I think it's interesting to hear why people quit Christianity. Maybe it's partly our fault. We put too much guilt on them. We don't answer their questions well.

I didn't watch the video, but it has been my experience in talking with such folk, that their attention is focused on the 'religion' of Christianity and not the Person of Jesus Christ.
With the religious aspect of Christianity, you will always run into problems and people that may let you down. But Jesus Christ never will let you down. Where is ones attention?

These people don't mention personal falling out with certain members. Like blaming a partner when you get divorced. Suddenly you see all the faults in your partner.
That's actually what she said; " they told me to just have faith"
So if they are focussed on any Bible verse, they are paying attention to Jesus Christ?
She said the Church gradually expected her to give more and more of her time. "Surrender to Jesus. Complete surrender"
Pharisees can focus on the verses and still miss Christ. Which is exactly what happened. They rejected Him.
Why do you do what you do? Are you coming to the Word of God to understand the Christian faith and how to act? Or are you coming to the Word of God to learn more about your Saviour Jesus Christ.

My heart cries for her as what so many present in Christianity of their list of do's and don'ts and if you don't do this or that by their standards (the carnal church) then you can not participate within the church because you are a sinner, but you can come and sit in the pew and give us your money every week. This actually happened to me because they deemed me not worthy to be a part of their ministry because they found out I smoked and made judgement against me. I was literally told by the Pastor I could come to church, but could not be involved with it until I quit smoking. I was still kind of young in the word without a whole lot of knowledge, but they made me feel like God hated me and I was surely destined to hell by their standards.
This caused me to stop going to church for awhile as I was devastated that I was told I was not good enough to be a Christian. I struggled with this and almost turned away from God, but unlike this lady I eventually searched for truth and cried out to God to help me because I knew He was real, but really come to find out I never had that personal relationship with Him. After hearing another Pastor beginning his sermon with the words "you are the head and not the tail", as he was preaching from Deuteronomy 28:1-14, the Holy Spirit got my attention and now the rest is history of where I was and where I am now in the Lord by His Spirit that dwells in me.
The moral is to not let anyone convict you of anything if the Holy Spirit does not convict you first. We are all sinners saved by grace as God gives each one of us a measure of faith that we build upon faith that is Christ Jesus and our knowledge of Him.
