This is a cool chapter. It starts out water if flowing out from under the house in all directions and Ezekiel is being led into the water. I think it speaks prophetically to the end times about walking in the Spirit. First it is only ankle deep.

Ezekiel 47:3-5

3 And when the man that had the line in his hand went forth eastward, he measured a thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the waters were to the ankles.

4 Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through the waters; the waters were to the knees. Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through; the waters were to the loins.

5 Afterward he measured a thousand; and it was a river that I could not pass over: for the waters were risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed over.../

First ankle deep, then knee deep, then mid deep, then over his head! Goes out into an impassable ocean as it gets deeper. That's the Spirit of God, and the waters flow out from the throne, right?

So it's ankle deep in the Spirit first. The after maturing a bit more promoted to the next level and it gets knee deep? It keeps saying that he was measuring. What are they measuring? Spiritual capacity? It makes sense. God will not put more on you than you can bear. So there's levels. That must be why most (lukewarm?) Christians never see any miracles and stuff. Only ankle deep. God wont send a tsunami wave on you before you get your feet wet, we couldn't handle it. He's nice like that, you-know?

This is an awesome chapter. :yes

So what's that mean? That we have Angels who come around and measure us? Sorry boy you didn't make Corporeal again?!!
Always checkin up on us.
I didn't even recognize the Angel that came to my garage sale until after he left. I don't know if my ability to perceive it was restrained or not. It could of been, it talks about that stuff happening in scripture. He might've had one of those red flashey things like The MIB had. How could I remember? Lol. Then they let me realize it, after he left! Geez, when's the next retest? I would love to make corporeal, lol. Is that knee deep?

Moses parted the Red Sea. Was he swimming or only up to his loins? God did say that He is going to pour His Spirit out...upon all flesh, in the end times.
So it's going to happen again. Any time now. Besides He will be coming for His Bride and she will be spotless...so some pretty drastic things are totally likely to happen! And we all know that the church is sicker than it's ever been, right now. He's going to start with His own...We better wash our garments, lol.

Ezekiel is speaking about rivers, being the word of God, running from the Temple of God as now through the Spiritual rebirth we are that Temple of God as He indwells us. The river is that of Christ Jesus who gives us each a measure of faith. As we grow in the word of God those rivers (word) swells up in us.

1 Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

John 4:10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. 11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water? 12 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? 13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: 14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
