'Saved' is in the PRESENT tense.
The person who is PRESENTLY keeping in memory the gospel is PRESENTLY saved. That is literally what the passage says. Do you disagree with this?

No, faith "apart from works".
Use the right terminology so I know if you are talking about Paul's argument concerning justification, "righteousness apart from works", or James' argument for justification, "faith alone". They are addressing two different things. Abraham was made righteous by faith apart from works. That is Paul's argument. Abraham did not have a faith that was alone, and so his works justified him as being someone who has faith. That is James' argument.

Sealed in the ark BEFORE the flood.
Similarly, the Israelites passed through the water AFTER they left Egypt.

The believer is completely and totally joined to Christ via the Holy Spirit the moment he believes. No further joining remains to be done.

I agree.
Those who think the sacrifice of the body of Christ is not sufficient all by itself to make a person a saved person and needs the aid of our works to make it salvific is spiritually blind.

"Do this in rememberance of me" is not a meaningless Passover Communion service (Luke 22:19).
We Protestants remember what Christ already finished that you Catholics say still needs to be finished.
Lk 24:30 And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them.
31 And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.
