You keep hearing the word, "relationship" here. Ya reckon "feeling" has anything to do with having a relationship? Are you saying I should be feeling my way to know God?

K. I'll do that. Can you explain the process a little more. That's odd, I could have sworn I simply said to get out a piece of paper, and begin writing.
Yeah but you don't have relationships solely based on feelings. You keep hearing the word, "relationship" here. Ya reckon "feeling" has anything to do with having a relationship?
Yeah, otherwise nothing would exist.PoP, do you know that if most people could ask only ONE question, that it would be THIS, expressed in maybe a hundred different ways....
Do I matter?
That's "feelings", Lil' Brother.
1. You say you left Christianity. Can I ask a non OP related question, why does every thread I create end up having everyone trying to convince me of God, Jesus or the bible. You even do it to each other, I certainly don't feel welcome when some of you carry on that way.
Am I alive?K. I'll do that. Can you explain the process a little more.
That's not what I meant, some try to convince "push and argue their views of God, Jesus and the bible" on to people instead of listening and understanding them and their situations.1. You say you left Christianity.
2. You stay here on the Christian forum asking questions.
3. It should be a logical conclusion that we present God, Jesus, and the Bible as answers you are looking for.
Ah, yes, the problems of communicating over the internet. That's not what I meant, some try to convince "push and argue their views of God, Jesus and the bible" on to people instead of listening and understanding them and their situations.
k.Am I alive?
Why?
How did that happen?
Do I believe in a god concept?
Do I think there is a REAL god?
One god, or more?
Can a god know me?
You can plainly see that I could have played the religious game, and incorporated all those questions into one grandiose-sounding statement, replete with Thee's and Thou's, and claimed, "There you are... Now, BELIEVE !!!!" But I didn't. Because you should not "believe" for some nutty idea like that. You should believe in what you have found to be not only a missing part of you, but in something or someone that cares and believes in you as something worthwhile.
So.... You can see that I broke questions down pretty basically simple and direct... not some spiritual hocus pocus. Just look at your own core beliefs, understanding, or even, hopes, in the same way.
THEN, settle them in your own mind as statements you can live with. (Secret: You'll find this can go on for months.... IF you honestly give yourself to doing it.) Or... God could Zap you into awareness in your sleep tonight.
Yep.Ah, yes, the problems of communicating over the internet.
We all have that problem in some way or another.
We have to learn to deal with it.
Can you explain that more th1b
Quoting the OP;
It seems nature has given us all a natural faith, that we have to exercise or risk permanent damage to ourselves.
Faith comes from nature, nature is a process of evolution and the creator designed that process. If faith was separate from nature, then no one would suffer the effects of despair due to suspending ones faith.Nature is natural as defined by science. God, the first four thousand years or so was never seen and yet He was there... in control! During the past two thousand years we have not seen Jesus but He sent the Comforter, the Holy Spirit and so, He has been here all along.
The scriptures teach us that God is a Triune Being, One God expressed in three persons. As per science, this is impossible creating an enigma for what is natural. Science, like the Bible, was created by God, for the for man to gain understand and from understanding, great faith.
The modern day scientific community, like the modern day "Christian" strives to interpret rather than to understand. God has interpreted everything for us and now we need understanding, wisdom.
God is a Spirit Being and He is not what man has determined to be natural, the false dialog about evolution is defined, by men, as what is natural and then it follows from this false position that the Spiritual realm is a lie and not to be trusted by sane people.
Praying this helps you.
No, you are dead and we want to spiritually see you resurrected. Do you see the NO beneath your Avatar? That is the public declaration of your lack of spiritual, a.k.a. eternal, life. You really want to kill me now, don't you.
I hope you jest, there is absolutely zero logic in this statement, maybe you can enlighten me?Faith comes from nature, nature is a process of evolution and the creator designed that process. If faith was separate from nature, then no one would suffer the effects of despair due to suspending ones faith.
Faith is a process of evolution, we have evolved to have faith, that's why we all end up having to find something to put it into. We have many mental faculties and faith is one of them. Like any faculty if we don't exercise it we can become sick.I hope you jest, there is absolutely zero logic in this statement, maybe you can enlighten me?
Nothing is dead, energy cant be destroyed ever. No, you are dead and we want to spiritually see you resurrected. Do you see the NO beneath your Avatar? That is the public declaration of your lack of spiritual, a.k.a. eternal, life.
