Can I ask a non OP related question, why does every thread I create end up having everyone trying to convince me of God, Jesus or the bible. You even do it to each other, I certainly don't feel welcome when some of you carry on that way.
God, Jesus and the Bible are not meant to be a threat but a solution.
If you want to be truly free, Christ makes you free indeed. Everything else is vanity.

That sounds so foreign so alien.

Faith is a process of evolution, we have evolved to have faith, that's why we all end up having to find something to put it into. We have many mental faculties and faith is one of them. Like any faculty if we don't exercise it "properly" we can become sick.

No sir, just as
God created everything in 6 24 hour days, He also gave to man Faith. Faith, correctly applied or incorrectly applied is a gift of God to His created man. There is absolutely no empirical scientific data to make the Theory of evolution anything but a theory. And for the unrevised understanding of theory, you need an unrevised edition of the Miriam Webster or another pre-World War II dictionary. Just because my kids generation became so infuriated with the truth that they cannot use empirical science to prove the now, being discarded, Theory of the Big Bang and the likewise the Theory of Evolution and revised the definition of Theory to satisfy their inability to debate the truth, does not change the truth.

The scientific community around the world has become so frustrated with being exposed on issues like "Lucy" that they are now busy postulating new theories for both events... even though both are, fully, explained in the first chapter of Genesis. They are trying to find a different interpretation of the facts.

Nothing is dead, energy cant be destroyed ever.
Of course you will live forever, (that isn't even in question)........ Otherwise why be concerned with "Where" and "How" you will face that eternal existence?

The term, "dead", means far more. Ever look into some people's eyes, and just "know" that they were dead to the life you enjoy? Sure you have. We all have. It's all over Skid Row.

If you ever seek to know God ad cease trying to shove Him into your Jell-o mold, there is a great truth and reward waiting for you. I never proclaimed any energy to cease it's existence. You do appear tired and expended on the subject and as is common among the intentional atheists, you are seeking to run me down a rabbit trail. The very fact that energy is not destroyed should confirm Eternal Existence. There are two forms of death and the lost man suffers both. The natural death, you understand, the Eternal or Spiritual Death, you have no grip on and that is the second death. The second death is never ending... never.

No ones dead so long as they keep learning.

First ill say there's two rules I obey when I decide to follow God.

1. I won't believe in God due to potential punishment.

2. I won't believe in God due to potential reward.

Second, I'm not an atheist.

Poet,
God won't object to your "rules" (He knoweth our frame, He remembereth that we are dust). Why not follow God simply to be righteous and holy? That would be perfectly acceptable to Him, and it will meet your "rules".

You know what, I think I'm derailing my own thread. I just wanted to hear more views on what people think of natural faith. So when you're all finished with your follow up replies, I want to get back to that.

Yeah that would, there not rules but integrity statement's. I don't think I can keep my integrity intact if I break those rules to believe in God.

I think you're gonna end up talking to yourself.
This forum doesn't allow you to make your own rules.

Alright, you're not a Christian, you're not an Atheist, what are you, Deist, Agnostic, Hindu, Buddhist or what?
