Many people are just not happy with who they are and instead of improving who they are it's just easier to put on a fake face, so to say, so others will accept them. People need to wear their hearts on their sleeves and be vulnerable to others so they can be accepted for who they are. It takes a Church to bring up a family.

Why in your opinion are there so many folks that are fake and act like we don't know ?? It goes from everyone we know at church or reletives. To internet "friends" to even our spouse.
Some fake to "like" someone. And that someone then later feels confused and well kinda hated.
Heck y'all I even feel that some pretend and fake to "love" even me.
I don't know what behooves people to act that way....????

I think that's how society is going. A friend of mine, he's from Holland, he said its worse in the US than in Europe. Something about how in Europe they still have the idea of "acquaintance," and they have a few close people they call "friends," whereas over here we call everybody our friend and the term has become almost meaningless. Something like that.

As for why people are so fake...how could we be otherwise? Its not cool to have problem or intense feelings (only losers have those) and its not cool to open up to people. Its not cool to be troubled or needy or lonely...or...anything other than well adjusted and smile, have a nice day sort of game show host happy. That's my take on it.

with man it is impossible. but Yeshua was not fake. His followers are supposed to tell the truth to one another and not to continue in lies any more. but most of the world and worldly churches are never taught this, and never see an example of this. they think since everyone lies, it's okay. they 'have to' to keep their job, or their family, or to stay in (a false) church, or to make more money --- they say 'they have to lie' for whatever.... instead of trusting Yeshua with their life and doing what He says.

almost if not everywhere, if you tell and stand up for the truth, most all groups/schools/unions/churches will kick you out. 'persecution' for telling truth. it is normal. Yeshua said it will happen. and it does. only a remnant tell the truth no matter what it costs them. even their lives.... ... Yhwh is Faithful in watching over us, so we are not afraid of anything - what can man do to us?

Why would a person fake being who they are? Are they doing it intentionally or unintentionally? Perhaps they do not know who they really are nor the appropriate way to "act". By perceiving the actions of another and assuming their actions to be "fake" could be a form of judgement on another. But is it judging when you are rightfully using the word of God to judge others? Leviticus 19:5 "Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.""

In my earthly humble opinion, there is an end that certain people seek. These people fake friendships in order to use people and take advantage of them. The ends involve something that these people want or need. I have had many friends just like these. In front of my face they were the best of pals. But behind my back they could care less for me. Word usually gets around about how these folks really feel about ya. And of course you don't want to believe it. So you don't give into gossip and let that person prove themselves to be a fake friend. Which usually happens and then you wonder why you didn't listen to others. Over the course of my life I have only met a handful of people I would call a true friend and could depend on. But in these last days the love of most has grown cold.

simply, as it is written, even true ekklesia, followers of Yeshua, were once slaves not of Yeshua, doing what they (we all) thought was of our own free will, not knowing, and not able to know nor recognize, that we were all slaves of sin doing the works of (not Yeshua), being led by (not Yeshua) all the while thinking we were making up our own minds and making our own free will choices (which no one is doing, until after being born again/redeemed/set apart to Yhwh/purchased with the blood of the Lamb Who Was Slain for our sins).
