note on the air craft a lesson learned for me, its cheaper to fly private if you fly enough times then to pay for regular travel.

I don't believe it. If so, they are trumped up charges.

note on the air craft a lesson learned for me, its cheaper to fly private if you fly enough times then to pay for regular travel.

The point is, that many people in ministry don't have the time to wait for commerical flights. They are needed anywhere in the world at a drop of a hat. God blesses ministries with transportation...and great givers!

I praise God for blessing the Copeland family.

"And there are going to be multiplied millions upon millions, there's going to be close to a billion people that have been trapped in that religion, that over the next few months are gonna to come into the kingdom of God. (cheering) That's gonna happen, you watch and see what I'm telling you. Because its been ... I'm telling you Satan's fat is in the fire he pushed it over the line, and God has moved, and for over a hundred years the United States has been an instrument of judgment in the hand of God. That's one of the reasons we're blessed, amen? I'd like to get in there and walk around a while but I don't have the time but I can tell you this, that thing has come to an end, its over, I'm talking about Islam and every, all that that stands for. That's over with. Now, God is making His move."

False prophet extraordinaire Kenneth Copeland, in a dedication service on 12/02/01 for the new 2000 seat Word of Life church auditorium in Honolulu, predicted that close to one billion Muslims would be saved in the next few months. Kenneth Copeland, Word of Life Christian Center, Honolulu HI,

Copeland Claims One Billion Muslims Will Be Saved In Months

Yeah Im happy Copeland's still around too but probably for different reasons.

There has been a great surge in Muslims coming to Christ in the last decade.

I praise God for blessing the Copeland family.
Dear Alabaster, Christ did not say, Blessed are the rich, for they shall inherit the earth. He said blessed are the meek. Also, he did not say blessed are the poor. He said blessed are the poor in spirit. But in many places He said poor people are blessed of God because they fully rely on God, while the rich howl because of their success, they forget to remember God Who allowed them to get rich. It also preaches in the word against ill-gotten gain. Much wealth is got by deception or sinful means. Anyone can succumb to greed, and our prosperity should be in how much Scripture we live by, not how much money we have. In keeping with obedience to the Word of God in Scripture, a man or woman who knows God and loves God and obeys God according to the teaching of the Scriptures will be blessed above and beyond a man or woman who makes a lot of money or other earthly treasures. Some do.

What are you addressing me for? I know this...do you?

In keeping with obedience to the Word of God in Scripture, a man or woman who knows God and loves God and obeys God according to the teaching of the Scriptures will be blessed above and beyond a man or woman who makes a lot of money or other earthly treasures.

Yes, God is the giver.

This is just my opinion...but serioiusly, most of their speaking engagments are booked a year in advance. I would need to see proof before I believed that they are rushing off at the last minute to pray for anyone, especially since many of these types will tell you to touch your tv to recieve a blessing.

Everybody in the bible is not blessed like Job was...that is a fact. Job was wealthy. Scriptures state that preachers should get double honor or as some have translated double pay. Double pay I could understand. $300-500,000 homes and businesses for you, each of your kids, friends and close family is not the same, and we all know it. And they don't just stop at their pay. The "church" pays for every whim they have, including furniture, art, vactions, cars, remolding, etc.

Now if you could collect your salary and then was told you do not have to pay for your home, mortgage, vacations, clothing expensives, entertainment, etc how rich would you be right now. Where does this cash come from? The collection plate. :( Kennth tells us by his own mouth:

From the very beginning, God’s aim was to bless us so extravagantly that we could demonstrate to the world that we don’t need anyone but Jesus to support us. He is our Source. He is the One who enriches us in all things. He is the Lord of the Harvest!

Then he teaches his church not to worry about where their 10% tithes go.

The problem is, many believers haven’t exercised their faith in the harvest aspect of Jesus’ ministry. They’ve gotten stuck instead on the seed-sowing part. “Brother Copeland,†they say, “I just keep sowing…and sowing…and sowing but nothing is happening.â€

Sometimes they even complain about what happened to their seed after they planted it. “I gave $50 to a minister, and then I saw his son riding around on a new bike. I don’t think he should have spent my money that way!â€

People with that attitude are digging up their seed. They’re interrupting the growth process and killing their crop. When Brother Roberts told us what God was showing him about harvest time, he said that’s a mistake believers must stop making. He said we must all learn to sow our seed, release our faith, then forget about the seed.

Forget about it?

Yes, forget about it! Let it go! It’s covered up in the soil of God’s kingdom. We’ll never see it again. So we should stop fussing over it…and worrying about it…and wondering what’s become of it.

First he take people's cash and then uses religion to guilt them into silence over how he is spending their money. Even slimy corporate america couldn't get away with that. It's a brilliant business plan that will always yeild income as long as you keep the church quiet. And they will for too many have been made to believe that they cannot "judge" how much is too much for another person. Even Christ knew the rich man was rich by the standard of his day. Are we too intimidated to make that same observations when it comes to the leaders of our own churches?

Dear Alabaster, I only said this because you said something odd about Kenneth Copeland, as if this is God's blessing on him, wealth. I think he is conning gullible people who will believe anything is "the Gospel" or "the word of God" to make money for himself personally. The Apostles didn't make a lot of money preaching.

Dear Alabaster. Great! It is great if many Muslims come to know and love Jesus Christ. Would that Israel, all Israel (Romans 11), would be saved. Then it would be the end time, and Jesus would be returning soon after, though no one knows the day or hour of His return. In Erie Scott H.

I never said anything odd about Kenneth Copeland. He is a highly blessed and favoured man of God.

You can choose to believe what you want, but you must also realize that you are not called to gossip, either.

The "Prosperity Gospel" is a false gospel. That's all I'm saying about it as nothing good can come from this discussion.
I agree!

I will leave this thread with a parting question:

Who has done more to spread the true Gospel and came closer to exemplifying the life of Jesus; Copeland or Francis of Assisi?
