Family Guy and its accuracy with the prophecies.

Josh said:

Family Guy is a show that deputed in 1999 by Seth Mcfarlane, it's intention was to mimick how american society behaved. As the simpsons were produced in the 1980s, but the family guy showed how america became many times worse over the years.

Family Guy shows how people are sarcastic, moody, cutting, cold blooded, and perverted. How children are disobedient to there parents, people are into having sex with animals, there obeist, don't keep their word, and there's some racism still in are society. And it has religion and it's deadly characterisics, and a lot more, everything that was prophecied for the end times. :study

And somehow the show gets worse and worse over the years, but never fails to be accurate to how american society is behaving, and is proving everyword of the end times prophecy true. But is occasionally hilarious. :lol

And many patriots are ashamed of the show, and ingore the fact that this country is just like that, what shockes me is some people ask God to bless the country after doing everything he said you better not do. :mad

Give me your thoughts on this topic.

Don't be decieved, Josh

Josh,

I used to watch Family Guy until I saw a number of its perversions, not to mention, mockery of the very things in which God stands for. Then...I have never been big on the Simpsons, South Park, or the like.

Do I feel it is wrong though to pray for this nation that so badly needs God? NO!!! For Jesus came to save the LOST not those who are already faithful in Him. What the U.S. needs MORE than ANYTHING ELSE is God. So as strange as it may sound, I am going to continue to pray for the nation in which I live for our eyes need be opened.

I apologize for any offense caused. None was meant.

May God Bless You

Danielle

I could be wrong, but things like the family guy fullfills the part about "many mockers" coming in the end times.

I liked the first 2 seasons but after that it just got dumb, plus I couldn't take the constant attacks on Christianity.

I thank the Good Lord I don't know many families like them, though I assume they do exist in one form or another... and not just in this country. I just with people would realize there are far worse countries. :sad

Me too and I'm an American.

Before I was saved I liked "comedy" like that. Now I have Jesus Christ in my life and realize that I polluting myself with that type of trash. It's especially hurtful now looking back the way God is mocked in those shows.

Trash like that does represent what our culture is becoming in the end times.

Agreed, makes me miss some of the better programs on television that are now being questionably considered to be placed under some form of monitoring.

One of my favorite quotes: If God does not judge America soon he should dig up Sodam and Gomorrah and apologize, lol

I too have stopped watching family guy, i prefer American dad, however i still love south park, i just avoid the mocking episodes.

I like your answer armor of God and John, I still watch it and just ingore the insults on intellgient people, which means people who believe in God, you have to stop preaching to people and just laugh at them, but I do like the deep adult jokes, just have to realize that Seth probably doesn't have a problem with christians but some of his staff does, which makes some of the shows, I can tell becuase they have no witty jokes, so I do enjoy it but just surf through all the venting.

Josh,

You and I will surely not see eye to eye on this, but I do not see how laughing at those who do not believe in God is going to help turn their lives to lives lived for Christ. For are we not all called not to just walk the walk, but talk the talk too? Faith without works is dead, no?

As for viewing shows such as South Park, American Dad, and Family Guy...to each their own. For me it is taking a stand in my faith. Just as no one should have to be preached to if they do not want to listen, nor should any believer have to stand for their faith being insulted. Let alone their creator being mocked.

I am glad you and others do not tend to let slander on faith get to you. Sometimes the best thing a person can do is take things with a grain of salt and return such actions with a smile or two. Though in truth, that is a practice I feel much easier said than done. Again to each their own.

May God Bless You

Thats what I do with South Park too, but I do love the Mormon episode.

To say family guy is an accurate description of American culture is just as scatterbrained as the show itself. It represents a portion of Americans but to say it represents the whole culture or even majority is just ridiculous.

There are more ridiciulous things then a group of people mocking the things of God with words when they don't know better, even Jesus said "Father forgive them they know not what they do". But there is a group of people Who call themselves God's chosen. They do not remember the orphan or widow in their need and distress. They do not visit the sick, they turn a blind eye to the hungry and they lack compassion instead focusing on their Own Health and wealth, giving with a focus to get, of course For god's "work". And as they say, "God owns a 1000 cattle on a 1000 hills, he wants me to eat steak". They speak these words not even realizing at the heart of them is one thing, their focus on the Me factor.

I think this is a more telling truth to the age we live in then family guy.

Family Guy, Pepsi and Jesus

Pepsi sponsored program: 'Jesus Christ, who hates many people, but none more than homosexuals'

March 30, 2009

Dear Friend,

On March 8, PepsiCo helped sponsor Family Guy, a perverted and sickening television program on FOX network.

PepsiCo helped sponsor the program which pushed the homosexual agenda and denigrated Christ. At a "straight" meeting, the speaker talks to gays about Jesus and tells them, "Jesus Christ, who hates many people, but none more than homosexuals.†The scene comes near the end of the video.

Wow, Vic that's a pretty alarming news link. I had no idea such things were even shown on TV! I did a quick search on Family Guy + Atheist and found this link:

http://friendlyatheist.com/2009/03/30/b ... n-atheist/

Which is a blog just posted today in fact about how Family Guy features an Atheist converting others to Atheism. Fact is, as others have said, it's not even far-fetched at all, in fact one of the big news stories I read over the weekend was a growing trend of "de-baptisms" where people publicly renounce their faith in any God of any kind.

Probably the most puzzling here is that Family Guy and Simpsons are Fox network shows, which seems to run the most base, liberal "entertainment" shows, and yet they're the only network that seems to feature politically conservative people and give a fair shake to Christians. How does that work? I realize Fox is just part of the larger company, News Corp, but you'd think there would be more cohesion between their offerings. Then again, Fox News Channel is a totally separate network from Fox Network, and I'm sure they have different management structures and values among the people running them.

When Jesus said "Father forgive them...", at that time they DIDN'T realize what they were doing. People can't use that excuse anymore. The Gospel has been around far too long to claim they don't know what they are doing. They know exactly what they are doing and are making a choice to do it anyway. The same thing goes for most Atheists, they know what they are doing, but choose to do it anyway.

Pray for them and try to be an example.

God Bless.
