Would appreciate prayers please.

My Father in Law suffered a severe stroke, bleed in the brain. He has been poorly for the last six months.

The truth is that t months ago when he fell poorly after five years of suffering breathing problems which doctors diagnosed as a result of working in factory's turned out to be incorrect.

In fact he had a very rare genetic disorder and the consultant he saw said that with his condition he should have been very poorly in his teens and dead in his forties. He is 73.

After speaking to the consultant today who has made it clear that this is the end of his life we have decided to go down the route of just making him comfortable and letting him go. To go home to our Father.

When we found out what his actual condition was we praised God because he should have gone home 30 odd years ago. So we have had the pleasure of knowing a beautiful man of God for a lot longer than the medical world says we should have had.

Can you pray for all of us but mainly for the grandchildren. There are 12.

The reality has hit my 4 kids this evening and they are in bits, they are devastated. He was a great Grandad.
They love him very much and he loved them very much.

So can I ask that you pray for my brother and sister in-law and sister and brother in law and their chidren as well.

Also for my mother in law. For the last 6 months she has carried this burden and has not slept at all.

Pray for my father in law as well. That he will not be in pain or agitated.
I am convinced that God has appointed a time for him to come home, pray that it is very very soon. Even tonight.

I am convinced that when it is his time he will see Jesus at the end of his bed or holding his hand and he will say to him "Hey mate it's time to come home now"

Jesus take dad home.

this is beautiful, wrg.

I'm sorry his problems went undiagnosed, but it is wonderful that he exceeded the usual life expectancy by decades. That's a miracle!

I'll keep him and the whole family up in prayer.

.
That is a beautiful testimony of a life loved not only by our Father, but your entire family. I pray for Jesus being in any fire with him as he passes into the everlasting arms, the praise and comfort of your family, and especially for his wonderful wife as she faces a life without him. Thank you brother for allowing us the glimpse into a life lived exhibiting what God can do for us in Christ.

You and your family are in my prayers, my friend. What you have shared with us is beautiful yet tinged with the sadness of knowing your Father-in-law won't be here to watch his grandchildren marry, have families of their own. Still, he has been blessed by the love of our Lord, and his life and endurance is a wonderful testimony for everyone.

Another saint has just gone home. I wonder what type of mansion he is going to get.

Thank you Jesus.

I'm sorry for your loss, my friend. Losing a beloved one is not easy for the survivors. Still, I love how you described your Father-in-law's passing: 'another saint has just gone home' ! That is such a beautiful tribute!
