I find your childish response to be fairly humourous.

When does your ability to care return, 30 years ago , 10 years ago , 2 years ago ?

My ability to care starts when I can do something about some wrong. My ability to care stops, when everything has been neutralized and the threat is no longer there. However, I trust that we can all keep our eyes open for anything like it happening in our life times. Do you have something along those lines to bring out. Let me ask you, do you care that the Israelites were beaten and mistreated while they were in Egypt? How much sleep are you losing over that issue? What are you doing in your historical rummaging to fix that?

My grandmother's in her mid 90s. She's got covid and on oxygen. I don't think she's sick though, maybe just a runny nose or something.

Do I have empathy for them , yes . But I find it odd how we moved from the USA to Egypt in your thoughts . You and I are US citizens just like those that were subjected to all kinds of nasty things from agencies of our Govt. History may not repeat but it does rhyme sometimes . The only issue I had was with the double standards and hypocracy and when things fail those in charge won't even acknowledge it and admit it or appolose to the people who might have been screwed over from a policy failure.

The health expert because only the health minister gets total control wanted everyone to lock down and isolate and stay safe, ok, that's a good health practice, so I ask the question, how is everyone piling into the same building everyday making anyone safer.

All small family stores that all sell essential items, fruit and vegetables, the butchers, the corner convienience store, the clothing store, they had to lock down even they had the exact same system in place as the duolpy billionaire coroporations that were allowed to remain open.

Explain how anyone was safer?. Thousand sof people daily all piling into the same and only couple stores every day. I been waiting years for a logical excuse.

But all this noise and fury that you're making regarding the work of the government medical specialists to do what they feel is necessary to keep us safe, is really just all that. A bunch of noise and fury over nothing. The U.S. NHS did what they considered, based on their years of study and knowledge of the subject, best for the 'people'. Not necessarily just you or I, but their job is to protect everyone. The methods they used were basically the same methods used all over the world.

This noise that you're clinging to, to bash the government that sits over you is just male bovine excrement. It's a very, very poorly done study and the interpretation of the data is wrong. Like I say, if there was a word of truth in that report, we'd all have a lot more than just one silly report made as a 'working paper' to prove the facts of the matter. But there isn't. There's just a group of Alex Jones and Sean Hannity hangers on. People who, and I'm not saying that you deny this, but it's the same 'type' of people that do these things, deny that the Sandy Hook shooting was a real live event where real children died.

If that's the type of group that you want to be aligned with, then so be it. But I'm not going there with you. I trust God first and the government under which He has placed me. I'm fortunate that the government He has placed me isn't somewhere like N. Korea, because then my attitude about the government over me might be different.

Well, you're the one going on about 'fixing' things that happened 70 years ago, and when I reneged, you asked me where my ability to care stops. I'm just asking you the same thing? Does you ability to care stop at 100 years ago, or can you actually carry it back to 4,000 years ago when God's people were being severely beaten and harassed? Where's your stopping point for caring about long dead people and issues?

You and I are US citizens just like those that were subjected to all kinds of nasty things from agencies of our Govt.

And of course, I know that the U.S. government hasn't always done everything right and proper. I mean I've read the book! The governments of the world are ultimately made of just normal everyday sinners. There are going to be problems. However, as regards this issue today, and what the government has done in trying to protect us from an airborne seriously deadly disease sweeping across the entire face of the planet, I can't find any fault in what we were told or what we were asked to do. Did it decimate economies all over the globe for people to stop working? Yes!! Absolutely!! But I place more worth on the saving of lives over the production of money for a temporary time. We'll get everything back together and hopefully it will be another 75-100-150 years before we have another such episode.

When that comes, we'll likely do the same things to protect our own lives.

I am curious though. Let's say that you were in Dr. Fauci's place. What would you have done in the matter? I mean if you have a few minutes, tell me what you would have done in the face of 10,000 people a day dying that are your responsibility to provide for.

If everyone would have done this there would not have been a pandemic . At my wife's request I did some graveyard exploring.local history not told outside of those who want to know ot where exposed to it

The civil war and it's units and battle regelia.

My dad was keen on some of the big stuff .I being a vet can focus on on things like the unit ,the battles who led.you won't find that level of interest in history normally in school let alone taught .a glance over .

We already do this with WW2,Korea ,nam .talk to those vets and get their views and a picture of the war .

Not well suddenly after fdr was elected ,Germany invaded Austria ,Hungary and Poland and then pearl harbor .then ve a d vj day and also maybe Normandy and the battle of the bulge .a Patton ,Ike and McArthur and iwo Jima and the atom bombs dropped .you might get a few Russian and German officers in as well .but on that six year period there's much to learn .

However using a nettie pod ,who would pay for it and mandate it's use?

While masks are debatable ,the argument of testing is the same .I don't agree with how they enforced it .I suggest recommendations.

If we all did evey tiny little things the doctors say,well gay rights ? Nope too risky ,only exercise would be ,no contact sports ,no baseball ,just walking .no golfing ,cuz most don't stop for lightning even the doctor you know .seem nary of them actually force the golfers off the course .I know because when I hear the alarm and im reading I walking with a rod in hand locating utilities.

Not at all . The original strains of covid had an incubation period of @ 5 days and by washing the nasal passages out everyday the virus almost never gets a chance to take hold and propagate . Remember where the swab went to check for covid ? When the pandemic started I was already washing my sinuses out and I wondered why I never caught the original strains or my wife either, she used the nasal wash too .

I'm sure the government and those in authority positions like health officials done what they believed was best for the people, I mean the virus was real and people were and are still dying. The only issues I had was hypocricy and double standards and policies that made absolutely no logical sense.

Aside from that im not judging anyone for anything unless there is evidence of faul play.

Countries were not prepared when the enemy hit so everything was a complete mess, and lesson needed to be learnt, yet who admits failure?. It's ok to not get everything right but should just at least admit different policy failures. Even if someone does there best you respect that, but if something is a fail and many suffer you can never go wrong with an apology, makes people feel better. Even like an accident for example that is unintentional and your at fault , you would still apologize to the victims even you didn't mean to cause them any harm.

I got respect for people who acknowledge and admit when they fail over people either lying or living in denial.

So, I'm going out on a limb here and guessing you're not a supporter of the supposed leader of the 'yuge' guy. So far as the person in the title of this thread, I don't believe that he has ever lied to us nor was living in denial of what was going on.

However, I'm fully aware that such an understanding of the man and his work isn't shared by some here. That's ok with me, but I seriously wonder how God is going to look upon those who are liars and deceivers.
