what was your favorite cartoon or kids show growing up?

Mine are:

Eureka's Castle

And
Animaniacs
 
Oh, Animaniacs. That show was genius. May be a kid's show, but some of it's humor you don't fully appreciate until you're an adult.

Hm...
Alvin and the Chipmunks was a good cartoon, though I was never really into it until my teens when I began watching episodes online. I do remember watching it from time to time as a kid, though.
Plus, their covers of popular songs aren't bad. They're the main reason I know songs from the 70's and 80's.:)

As a kid I loved Scooby Doo.
Though now it's pretty meh.

Also, the Powerpuff Girls. Loved that, and hear it's still considered a pretty good show among those who grew up with it.

Young adulthood? Histeria, by far.

Tiny Toon Adventures, The animated batman (very dark and creepy), animaniacs, the simpsons...
 
bat man is supposed to be dark, not campy as he was in the 60's,70's and mid 80's
