Favorite Christmas carol?

Well, it's the Season.

One of my favorite Christmas carols is 'O Little Town of Bethlehem'.

I really like the testimony of the words:

'How silently, how silently,
The wondrous Gift is given!
So God imparts to human hearts
The blessings of His heaven.
No ear may hear His coming
But in this world of sin,
Where meek souls will receive Him still,
The dear Christ enters in.'

I like a lot of them but I have to say Away in a Manger is one of my favorites but for fun I like Have a Holly Jolly Christmas.

While I think "O Holy Night" is the best of the old carols, I believe that "Mary Did you Know?" is the best, hence my favorite

BornAgain: Around here there is a very of Have a Holly Jolly sung by Burl Ives, I think it is, that is being played in stores over and over again! :)

It reminds me of when my daughters were younger and we were decorating the Christmas tree. But, I forgot about O Holy Night...that is a very touching song.

Right at the end where it goes 'Oh night...divine' (and goes up a whole octave....) :)

Can't say I have an absolute favorite, as there are many I like, both old and new, but there is one that I wish they wouldn't play on the radio as much, that my wife enjoys. That being the Hippopotamus song. Very annoying.
