Favorite or least fave Season

I like summer! It's colorful and lively. Time to go to the beaches and long vacations.
We don't have winter so i can't hate winter...:)
:)

My favorite season is always spring! I live in an area where we have all the seasons, including very cold days and snow. I love the spring because it just feels like everything is so alive, almost like it's being reborn. The air is crisp and the leaves on the trees are tender. You can almost feel the energy surrounding you. Besides, I'm a runner, and running don't get much better than a sunny 60 degree day!

I like autumn the best; the warm days and cool nights, colorful foliage, and lower humidities. Summers are too uncomfortable for my blood; too hot and humid. I like winter; grew up in northern MN not too far from the real icebox of the nation...Tower, MN. Yeah, I know, International Falls has the reputation but Tower has the record at -60 degrees F. Spring is my least favorite season. With the melting snow often accompanied by rain it gets too sloppy for too long.

Autumn is my favorite season. Autumn in New England, with the bright colors, and the crisp, crystal clear air,and the smell of wood fires. I never feel more alive than I do in the autumn of the year.

Admit it Mark, aside from the beautiful colors, you love the pumpkin pie and fresh apple cider!

Ha, speaking of wood fires, I'm usually rushing to split and stack about 8 full cord of wood about that time of year. Believe it or not, they are calling for snow today! But the fire does make the house smell good!

Yes, stovebolts, yes I do love the pie and cider. Fortunately, I have farming nephews to keep me supplied with homemade New York State cider (and maple syrup in the spring), and a wife who keeps me supplied with pies.

I burn 6 - 8 cords of wood in a winter myself. After last October's freak snow storm that brought down maple and oak trees all over my property, I'm set for the next couple of years. :)

You know what else wip? Backstraps! :thumbsup. Only in the fall and winter, because they don't last until spring lol!

Oh yes! And tenderloins.
