Warnings of US financial meltdown, the US hits the wall in the next few weeks, reaching its present credit limit.
If the US credit limit cannot be raised, increased, then the US will default on its financial obligation,

Not so.
It doesn't mean the government stops receiving revenue... taxes, etc... which could be used to pay just the debt service or other funds would be redirected to that interest payment. I've done the same concerning debt, pay only the interest until I could pay on the principle. Therefore I didn't default on my loan/s.
Those who want the credit limit raised claim the US will default on it's loans citing selected data or voicing "opinions" to support their case. Thing is they're really not telling you everything. They aren't lying, just not telling you the whole story conveniently leaving out the options available.
It's political hype. There are always options especially where the government is concerned. Heck, they have more ways out of things than any of us could or will ever have available. And you can take that to the bank.

According to scientists, the spiders likely collected in the trees after fleeing from the rising floodwaters. At their height, the floods covered as much as a fifth of the country and displaced as many as 20 million people.

One unexpected blessing from the bizarre post-flood event is that the hungry spiders seem to be significantly reducing mosquito populations. Malaria and other mosquito-borne diseases became a serious concern in the region after the floods receded and left the landscape blanketed in stagnant water. But areas of Sindh with the most web-covered trees also have reported fewer cases of malaria.

It's a strange fix for such a pervasive problem, but nature has an odd way of striking a balance. Since reconstruction in the worst-hit regions of the country could take years, the cocooned trees may turn into an unexpected symbol of nature's good will — in spite of their spookiness.

No, if Obama and cronies don't stop spending, we will have rain and woe. If we increase the debt limit and/or possess the "have not" peon philosophy that the rich ought to be taxed more just because they are simply rich, will make our economy fall because Washington will just spend more anyway if they have more. Socialist and similar despotic ideas never historically worked, and to top it off Obama is a fear monger.
