First post!

Greetings fellow brethren of Christ, I found this forum while looking online for somewhere to find like minded true Christian brothers, and sisters in the faith. I believe this just might be the place. I am finally, by the grace of God a true christian, after many years of lukewarmness I have accepted the Lords gift of salvation, repented of my wicked ways, and am now on fire for the Lord. In doing so i now look around and the friends that were so dear to me, are now only dragging me down back to where i had been, after sharing the good news with them, and warning them about their impending destruction without repentance. I am now left with no one but the Lord, although I am greatly pleased, because he is the only friend I truly need. I am deeply saddened by the fact that I am unable to fill up one hand while counting the true christians I know with my fingers. In these dark times we must join together against the darkness that is expanding over the world in these last of days! The commandment of the Lord to preach the gospel to all creatures is echoing in my head. I have been doing so on a very small scale with little to no luck. And more drastic measures must be taken. I know that I must step up my game while there is still more time for them. The devil, and his evil minions are uniting against us as we speak. Shall we merely stand by as souls are being lost forever every day? I come here to search for those who are willing to step outside of their comfort zone, and help me step out of mine. Because if we unite for the Lord, then with the Lord there will be none that can stand in our way! Please take a stand with me friends, take a righteous stand against evil. One thing we won't be able to in heaven is win souls. While we are here we must help those that are lost. Or else they will soon be eternally lost. Our days are limited, these truly are the last days. I pray for you all aswell as me to be given the boldness to stand up for our beliefs, and to share in our wonderful hope that is in our Lord Jesus Christ. amen.

Hi ServantOfChrist and welcome to CF.net in Jesus' name. So the battle has begun and Proverbs 11:30 tells us that he that winneth souls is wise. Many times those we know will be more influenced by our walk with Christ than what we say. I do hope you are encouraged here in the time you spend with us to the glory of God.

Yes, the Lord said "Be holy for I am holy" I believe he means for us to strive for holiness, not to accept defeat when we stumble, but to seek righteousness. I have been striving to be sinless, not succeding completely, but I am no longer living in my sin. And you are right, it seems that people are noticing.

Welcome to CF! You sound like my dad when he truly repented and saw that in his past he has just been a false convert. When he was saved, which the Lord used Living Waters DVDs to show him his sin, he immediately started witnessing to his friends and coworkers. Remember, just because someone is not saved on the spot does not mean you have failed. You have still obeyed the Lord and planted a seed in their heart.

Absolutely! we must atleast warn them, we are to be watchmen, warning them of their inevitable destruction. Doing so their blood is no longer on our hands. It will be their choice whether or not to take up that opportunity or not. We will be judged on what we should have done, not only what we have done.
