My hubby grew up in St. Pete and when we go down to visit I've only ever seen one and tried to get a pic, but he jumped in the water to quick. I want to drive through alligator alley, but would probably freak out.

Me too, but I clicked in any way.

A jogger got eaten by a gator about a mile away from where I worked sometime around 2005.

The story I recall was when the little Cub or Boy Scout was ripped out of a boat during a fishing trip. I really enjoyed the episode of "Wife Swap" where the vegan went to go live in the bayou with gator hunters. She had her butt handed to her.
