Hi Pastor Doug and welcome to CF

The KJV Bible does not contain the Tobit, Judith, Maccabees, Wisdom or Baruch so many will not understand the great gems that are in the Book of Wisdom unless they look it up, but I have a copy of the Jerusalem Bible that does contain all these books.

Virtue according to Webster's Dictionary means: morality, goodness or uprightness. This is what God is all about in those who walk according to His Spirit and follow not after the lust of their flesh, Galatians 5:16, 17. The world can not understand such things as morality, goodness or uprightness within the Spirit of God as they blind themselves from His truths.

Matthew Chapter 7 and John Chapter 15 are two great chapters that speak about us bearing fruit that is pleasing to the Lord, but also gives warning to those who think they are of the Lord because of all the work they do, but their fruit is evil as what they do they so do to be seen of others much like the Pharisee's as they are none of His and will be cast into the fire Romans 8:1-16.
