Granted that Jesus used references about Adam, and others from the OT, to further explain his ministry and purpose for coming to this earth, but if we go back to the OP, do you support or deny the Framework Hypothesis.
The framework hypothesis has many variants.
I do not think that there was a literal six day creation as 'we' perceive hours on the clock, no. So in this way some framework variants account for a longer period of time.
Even Einstein proved that time is relative to the velocity of the viewer.
In the end I might just say I don't really know and therefore can not say it was just a six literal day event as we perceive it. It may NOT have been.
Some want to hinge other peoples salvation on that item alone. I just say those kinds of sights are very shortsighted and very limited in those who think that way.
I also believe that early Genesis contains accounts of both a literal creation and accounts of invisible creation. And that the invisible portions or spiritual portions could have transpired over tremendously long periods of time as we perceive time.
Colossians 1:16
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
Does the literal only sight of six days (as we perceive them) for all of the above hold any truth for me? No. Those would be very very limited insights in my opinion and certainly not worth staking some one else's salvation upon, which seems to be the ultimate slant of the six day literal crowd.
I say they are ignorant and their fruit is very very bad. Putrid even.
But hey, there are people in this world who would see other believers damned to burn alive forever for not spelling Jesus' name exactly right (as they see it.)
To me all of these kinds of people remain suffering under the same affliction that Adam did. Satan is in their hearts and is making them INTERNAL killers of their fellow believers and they don't even know it.
