basically, it fits science by denying science.

what you are basically saying, is god had the ability to speed upa nd slow down certain things, at will, and make all of these things happen incredibly fast, so god could then mislead anyone seaking knowledge..

your theory here only proves that god is deceptive.
No, I simply observe that things operate at different rates in the physical only world, and the world that was spiritual and physical.

How is it that you are the only one who can do this marvelous feat?
If one seeks knowledge, one should beware of assuming the future and past are like the present. That is where they crash.
You know this how?
Science is in the testable observable present. It concerns only the physical, and is not applicible in a past that was more than that.
You complain that science only uses facts as reference but you think it is OK to use your imagination as proof positive. Where did you go to school?

I deny NO science, just assumptions about it that are only beliefs that cannot be supported!
However you want to substitute your own assumptions without ANY factual basis for what you call assumptions with hard evidence to back it up. Hard evidence trumps imagination any day of the week.

But God is coming to live here, so it must be the center.
I think this fully encapsulates your logic, in that it shows so clearly what is really wrong with it. Why would a ubiquitous, infinite being have to 'live' at the center of the universe?(That's rhetorical, you don't need to answer that)

Maybe God thought that the universe would be better off by having the Earth off to one side, even if he built the entire shebang around this particular chunk of rock. It's clear that the Earth isn't currently in the center of the universe.

Right, not the PO center, as perceivable by men.

[quote:edac4]There's no reason to believe that God plans on moving it, and nothing in scripture that implies he will.

Don't need to, it is the center now, we just see part of the picture.

Further, there's no reason, other than your own curious biases, to believe that being at the geographical center of the universe is in any way superior to being at any other point.
[/quote:edac4]
God defines the center. Those far from Him are eccentric. No need to harp on what is the center, believe what you want, it isn't that important. You must admit it is the home of the Almighty in the new heavens, though!

No, the writing is on the wall, if they bother to read it. But if they chose not to retain God in their so called knowledge, don't blame me.

[quote:7c8b6] How is it that you are the only one who can do this marvelous feat?
Because it is different than the bible describes the merged new heavens. It is also different than the past. I pointed out several differences. As fo the actual future or past, you and I can't observe that, which is why you cannot claim it was PO!
If one seeks knowledge, one should beware of assuming the future and past are like the present. That is where they crash.

This no one knows by mere science, which is far too inadequate. WE know by the bible.

You complain that science only uses facts as reference but you think it is OK to use your imagination as proof positive. Where did you go to school?
I don't claim science tells us the future or past, you do! Falsely, I might add. The bible is not imagination, and it does tell us what science cannot.

However you want to substitute your own assumptions without ANY factual basis for what you call assumptions with hard evidence to back it up. Hard evidence trumps imagination any day of the week.

No, because there is NO science that goes and obsereves the past, only belief! No science to substitute there at all!!!!!!! The present is where science has it's little domain. I don't usually question that. If I do, I back it up.
