Glimpses of God in your Life

I have never had a child. I imagine the birth of a child must be a "God" experience. Becoming a parent the first time so special. My parents had 7 boys and no girls. I was 5th. By the time I was born...." Oh no..not another boy! Thanks but..."
Of course special moments with my partner are glimpses of God. Even something as simple as a walk along the beach with our dog.
I have had very emotional moments watching a movie at a cinema. A movie like "The Mission" had a spine-tingling soundtrack with awesome scenery. Just emotion you say? Any beautiful experience like that must be God sourced imo.
Music can really move me deeply. We all have our different preferences. I think Music can make sense of our struggles . Life doesn't always add up. And it encourages us to stay hopeful. Not despair. That's God in my view. Saying "Hang in there!"

All these beautiful moments are so special and you never forget them. They remind us of God's wonderful creation. The baby, the dog, the awesome scenery.
I love Scotland, you turn a corner and a mass of beauty hits you in the eye. It's breathtaking .

Glimpses of God are found within the beauty of all His creation. Mine is hearing His small still voice within the rustling of tree leaves as they speak to me of His glory and majesty. I hear His voice when I'm at the river watching the rushing of the water that sweeps over the rocks as the sound is so soothing and calming. My favorite is staring up at the stars at night like you could just reach out and touch them and ponder all the fastness of the universe made by God for His good pleasure for us to enjoy.

Thank God I'm a country girl.
