But the USA parlez vous football pretty good, too.
It's the first time I'm watching a USA men's soccer team play, and I'm positively surprised. Didn't expect those soccer illiterate Yanks could actually put up a decent fight.

My bet for the finals was France vs Argentina. But France was off'd tonight.

Everyone was a bit scared of France, so right now people here are acting as if Germany had already won the world cup.

I had a number of arguments these days with people that don't understand why I'm not automatically supporting the German team. Guess I just lack any sense of patriotism, but I really don't care much whether Germany wins. I want the better team to win. Tonight I thought both were about equal. The German goal keeper is absolutely awesome though and he saved the day a couple times. So I think the German team deserved the win.

I missed the game. However from the livescore analysis it seems France played better...and as usual couldn't win.
