Global warming on mars?

I found this funny. Who is to blame for global warming on Mars? Those martians need to stop using so much gas. HAHA. It does not actualy talk about global warming, but I couldn't resist.

I know, its only a few observed days and they could be outliers, but its still funny to me.

"..air temperatures as high as 43 degrees Fahrenheit (6 degrees Celsius) in the afternoon..

..These measurements are a bit unexpected, since it's still late winter at Gale Crater, the spot 4.5 degrees south of the Martian equator where Curiosity touched down on Aug. 5..."

Ya know, It reminds me of the lecture that the famous new ager David Wilcock pointed out. While I don't agree with all of his interpretations about the universe (since I am coming from a Christian slant) I still find he is very entertaining to listen to, and he has this interesting mixture of metaphysical thought and science. He showed chart after chart that other planets have global warming on them as well.

So, the debate over global warming should not be whether it exists or not, but rather the cause--- I believe its natural. If interested, here is his lecture on that topic, and I confirmed independent sources that say the same thing.

I have always believed that "man made global warming" is just a scare tactic by the government, and some special interest groups, to get certain pieces of legislation passed through Congress in order to benefit someone of whom they in the pocket. There is no such thing as "man made global warming" or "climate change." Fluctuations in temperature have been going on since the beginning. The only thing we have significantly affected is the air quality of the planet. That is something that definitely needs to be addressed. However, since the oil companies, at least partly, have control of the government we will not see a significant decrease in polution or increase in gas mileage for quite a while.

Sure there are plenty of people screaming for "greener" vehicles, have you seen any that don't cost the same as a low level luxury car? How are they going to be affordable for the people who actually own the cars that are contributing more to pollution than anyone else. Of course I am talking about people around, or below, the poverty level who own cars that are 10+ years old. What we really need is a program where these people are able to, legitimately, afford hybrids or electric cars.

Yes, that and a bunch of other issues/subjects always thrown in our faces. I especially like to pick on the medical/pharmaceutical establishments since that affects us directly and I even pick on a certain computer operating system with my well-known critiques in the tech section. These special interests are what us conspiracy theorists call the Illuminati, but hey, this board does not want to talk about that, so I won't. :lol Bottom line, just question everyone you hear these days because there is more spin to most of the stuff than a child's toy top.

yes but when those batteries go , it will cost a fortune to replace them.
no thanks. i dont feel like buying a cherry picker just to change a mega amp battery for a car that will not save much on costs(factor in the higher electric bill) it will cost to charge that battery.

the hybrids use a 72 volt system, still not cheap either.

That is why you get the extended warranty.

right, sure, murphys law doesnt apply?

i have worked for a dealer they will wiggle out of them.i have had them do that with my truck knowing full well that its paint job was sorry and it needed to redone fully. they paid for only parts. the truck has an issue with primer all over it from the factory.

Of course murphy's law applies, but how often to people who own these cars need to replace the fuel cells?

fuel cells dont power hybrids. a fuel cell cant kill you like a car battery that is large enough to crush you with weight.

we have an electric forklight that has a battery that is only 24 volts and yet it weighs a ton.if i were to ground that batttery it would kill me. the shere explosion.

hybrids use a single 72 volt battery or also 6 12 volt battery in series.unless they changed them to fuel cells recently im right.

nimh isnt a fuel cell

unless you know of others that use a fuel please post.

That is what I mean by fuel cells. Batteries. How often do they need to be replaced?

In regards to mistreating these batteries, this is pretty much on par with what idiots are already doing with normal gas powered vehicles.

florida eats batteries. so cops sitting in the their cars with all them electronics on are idiots?we get one year on the mt-65's made by interstate batteries. two years is about average for that.we have gone to ford oem batteries.

depends on use. and also tempeture. heat kills batteries. and nimh rechargables have a shelf life.a laptop has them too.
