This came from a letter I wrote in 06
My name is Peter I am a 46 year old man. I
am the product of a "MIRACLE " from which many miracles stem from. The
anniversary of my story will be the 31rst of this month. Due to memory
issues I have researched the beginning of this story with the people that
were there family, friends, doctors, and nurses. On Aug. 31 2005 at 10 pm I
called 911 apparently having chest pains, volunteer rescue arrived
shortly afterward. While being transported in the ambulance I set up and
Said, looking the man in the eyes "something is wrong" and died. I was hit
3 times with paddles in the ambulance before getting in emergency, In
emergency where I was hit more than 20 times. From the time I coded in
the ambulance 15 minutes had elapsed. Heart beating on life support I
lay-ed. My brother was called from the neighboring state, which has not seen
me in 5 years, to come and make a decision to remove me from life
support. His wife got on the phone calling everyone she knew to start
praying. My brother arrived after I had started breathing on my own. He
started praying for me he even got a lady he did not know to put hands on
me and pray with him. I remained in a coma for 55 hours. When I awoke I
appeared to be in the worst state that could be imagined. Severe brain
damage due to lack of oxygen to the brain. The outlook for any recovery
was bleak at best. My brother in a spiritual battle of his own, he was
upset that they had gone to so much trouble to bring me back to say I
would have no quality of life. He listened to things being said "he won't
be able to chew food" the word " vegetable ". He told me that regardless
what was said everything is possible through Jesus Christ. Being told I
would have to be under medical care for the rest of my life. After a
little more than 2 weeks I was moved to a nursing home in North Carolina,
still peeing in a bag and being fed through a tube. My family attended
meetings with staff. They were informed that the family should except that
I had reached plateau and this was as good as it was going to get. I was
awake but talking very little that was intelligible. I was in this place
for approximately 3 weeks, after the second or third family meeting my
family came into see me. I remember this day and very few blurbs of things
before. We communicated not all intelligible, but I remember. I remember
most from this day forward. My first physical therapy was being sat up and
falling over. Due to the brain damage I had little muscular control. I
was told "I had to learn to sit so I could be put in a wheelchair so they
could work with me". I was pushed for a while till my motor skills improved
and was able to do it on my own. After removing the bag they started
teaching me to transfer myself from bed to wheelchair to bed and back.
(FREEDOM).Physical therapy person started to work with my legs. I was told
later there was no expectation of me walking with aid much less on my own.
They were right, But everything is possible through Jesus Christ. I had
speech therapy also. I walked out of that nursing home on January 1,
2006 4 months to the day that this whole ordeal started got in my own
car and drove away. I love all the people I met and know through all
of this. They were all sent to me by the Lord who wants nothing more than
a relationship with me. I have no memories of the event of august 31,
2005, no pain, agony or anything bad. The only thing I am sure of is woke
up In God’s grace and surrounded by people who love me. My fondest memory
of all was sitting in a wheelchair outside the nursing home talking to a
lady volunteer she told me " God had a plan for me " I said "I wish I knew
what it was " she replied " you are doing it you are letting people know
"God is still performing miracles "
That is beautiful
isn't it??

God's nature is revealed through us, for those who have accepted Him into their lives. How beautiful and marvelous to see our God's good amd perfect Will be displayed through another's life. Let your light shine, so bright that it calls those from darkness, breaks chains, and strengthen those in desperate need of salvation.

That's an awesome testimony brother. God is good and you're living proof of it. :)
Praise the Lord.

For the next 2 years I shared this testimony with any and everybody I came in contact with. It was written as an email to a guy on the internet I saw a site about the miracle God had done in his life. It bothered me, it said "the day Ron----- Beat death". I wrote Ron and told him about my ordeal and the PS at the end said" you and I did not beat anything we are both products of a miracle. We have to give credit where credit is due. PRAISE THE LORD!!" I sent the email to my brother and ask him to read over it. He was a witness to the miracle in my life. He asked if he could share it with his wife after reading it I was prompted to share it with others. I took it to the YMCA and ask the lady at the desk (Judy) if she knew what happened to me she said she had heard some things. I ask if she was curious she said yes but I am not nosey. I handed her the story and went to work out. She ask me later if she could show it to someone else. I told her she could do whatever she wanted.
Over the course of the next few weeks people would say things to me about it, I never gave it much thought. I went to Florida for a week on my return I went to the YMCA and that story was taped to the counter where you swipe your card with big letters across the top saying read this. I said to the girl behind the counter you still have this she replied we have been printing them off 15 at a time. People have pulled up out front and come in and ask for them. For the longest time people were coming up to me telling me they saw that story on tables in waiting rooms in the hospital, in nursing homes, marque at their church........... This is God! That story was my witness of the goodness of God and how He showed love to me and everyone that read it.
I do not share His testimony enough.
Who would have thought having a heart attack and dying would be the greatest experience of ones life. I would not trade this for anything it is when I came to understand what is important and it is not me. My life before was a life of living in want and never being satisfied. Now I know and embrace the blessing of having all my needs met.

Even when we are running
away
from
Ourselves
And
HIM,
He still loves us
So much
He chastens us
So we understand
This lesson comes
as comfort
Comfort from above
For the Father only
Chastens
Those
That
He loves

Yes, I saw God's mercy and love to this mankind from your testimony.

Thank your story, I saw God's love from it.This is my story,I hope my story can make more people see God's God’s wonderful deeds and feel God's love.
Ever since I began to understand things, I knew my mom was often ill and had never stopped taking medicines, and that all the work in our home had to be done by my father alone. My mom often burned incense, worshipped Buddha, and even went to some witches for the treatment of her illness, but tonoavail. At that time, a blind fortune-teller often came to our village. (Everyone said he was an expert fortune-teller.) He told the villagers that my mom would encounter a crisis at the age of 53. That year, not long after I left home for Japan, my mom was diagnosed with a terminal uterine cancer. Then she was hospitalized and had an operation. The doctor said that she had at most two years to live. My father sighed all day long on account of worrying that my mom couldn’t pass the crisis. All the people in our village remarked that my mom’s cancer would not possibly be cured. Those patients who were in the same hospital room with my mom all had money and position. They ate highly nutritious tonics and took the best medicines. As a contrast, because our whole family lived on the little money gained by my father farming and we couldn’t afford the treatment, my mom didn’t accept chemotherapy after the operation. To our surprise, in that ward, my mom was the only patient who finally survived. When she went to hospital for a second examination, the doctor was utterly astonished and said that she had fully recovered from her cancer.
After three years abroad, I came back home. Until then did I know my mom once had a cancer. Then she testified about the wondrous deeds of God to me:she often prayed and read the bible,so her cancer gradually got better. She is well now.Thank God!
