But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: you are of more value than many sparrows.
- Luke 12:7

Thoughts on Today’s Bible Verse:
From the Lord Jesus’ words, we can see that God knows us like the palm of His hand and rules over everything of us. God created us and knows our needs and inadequacies. He is at our side watching over and protecting us at every moment. Too often, we encounter some persecutions and tribulations, trials and refinement, such as suppression of the satanic regime, ridicule and slander of the world, miscomprehension and estrangement of our friends and relatives; as a result, we misunderstand and blame God, and even lose faith in Him. The Lord Jesus’ these words have strengthened our faith. God knows us all too well. He has even numbered the hairs of our heads, let alone these trials and refinement, persecutions and tribulations. All this is God perfecting our faith. We are not afraid, for God is at our side watching over and protecting us, leading us the way ahead. Just as God says, “Since the creation of the world I have begun to predestine and select this group of people, namely, you today. Your temperament, caliber, appearance, stature, family in which you were born, your job and your marriage, the entirety of you, even the color of your hair and your skin, and the time of your birth were all arranged by My hands. Even the things you do and the people you meet every single day are arranged by My hands, not to mention the fact that bringing you into My presence today is actually My arrangement. Do not throw yourself into disorder; you should proceed calmly. What I allow you to enjoy today is a share that you deserve, and it was predestined by Me at the creation of the world.

Joshua 24:14 Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD. 15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

God already knows who will serve Him from generation to generation. It is those who choose to be obedient to Him as a faithful servant that are His own.
