God understands my hatred for criminals right?

Jesus didn't say He loved them.

So again, the abortionist, the muslim cutting Christians head off, do you love them?

Quantrill
Let us put the definition of Love down.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.

Does God have to hate us? No, we are his creation. It is his will to do with us what he wants. He will get people from his creation who will love as he loves. He hates evil (anything the devil offers up), but he doesn't hate us.......like I said, we are his creation. Whatever happens........God will get what he wants in the end. So for any of us, why judge others? We can only be a light shining in the darkness for others to see what Jesus looks like.

Coming down hard on him for what? For him being unchristian like to me. Yup.
Sarcasm is not unchristian. Humor is not unchristian but when feelings get truly hurt, then maybe it has gone too far. But then again, that is what apologies are for and whatnot.

You still avoided my questions. I understand.

So, why did God hate Esau before he was even born? (Rom. 9:11-13)

And, why did Paul say what he did concerning Alexander the coppersmith? (2 Tim. 4:14)

Oh! Paleeze!! You call him insinuating that I’m not of God as sarcasm? You can miss me with that. He went way beyond sarcasm bit was downright accusatory. My feelings were totally unaffected because I am cold to those accusations, but I do hate when people hate the Word of God. You seem to condemn someone as righteous as me and Quantrill, yet you won’t pass any judgment toward the so called humble soul that literally insulted God 3X in this thread.

I know. She keeps a avoiding my questions too.

Okay, bye bye.

Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell. For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be. Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.

It would be such a great idea if you would heed to this.

I think this thread has gone far enough. When disagreements arise, and they will, we have a responsibility to express our disagreements without sarcasm, animosity, aggression, or putting each other down. Instead we need to work toward unity in the Body of Christ rather than division and all I saw in the last three pages has been division so I am locking this thread for further replies before it gets worse.
