Godless marriages

I am sure most who do have their little man made paper giving them permission to marry will think my wife and I are not really married since we refuse to be in covenant with man when it comes to a Godly Marriage.
I'm not one of them. I view a marriage done in the presence of the Lord and Godly witnesses to be just as valid as a state sanctioned marriage. There is one difference in my opinion, God will bless and honer either or, but the state won't, unless one lives where common law marriages are on the books.

I'm also not too concerned about your sarcasm, God is very much concerned though and HE has been working on that area of my life lately. I pray HE does the same with you also.

My whole point in the previous post if I wasn't clear to anyone was, as long as both parties are believers and are getting married in God's honor, He's glorified too. :amen

I agree, Vic. God honors both.

By all means, folks can get "married" just in the eyes of God and not make it "legal". However, be prepared to give up those benefits that a "legal" marriage provide in terms of taxes and other state regulated items.
