Nope.
Can we agree that the law was fulfilled in Christ? That we're not bound by the law and condemned to its penalties?
No SIN or EVIL is authorized UNDER GRACE, period. That never happened and never will happen.
All transgression of LAW is SIN. The Law, the scripture has concluded ALL are UNDER SIN.
This fact of sin REMAINS in the flesh of all, even believers.
So no, God did NOT authorize or condone EVIL or SIN in any person, period.
But as we have discussed, there is more than 'just man alone' involved with sin. You may not 'personally like' the conclusion of scriptures, but SIN is in fact OF THE DEVIL who will NEVER be obedient to LAW or UNDER GRACE.
hmmm? Pretty please? Can we agree that the law was not nullified but it did meet it's goal in Christ?
If you are asking me to authorize SIN or EVIL under Grace, my answer will be the same as God in Christ....
NEVER! EVER! That never happened and NEVER WILL.
Jesus CONDEMNED ALL SIN IN SINFUL FLESH, period, end of conversation. Jesus did NOT throw out THE LAW that PROVES SIN in ALL. That NEVER happened either, as much as you'd LIKE THAT to be the case.
Can we say we're no longer required to observe the ceremonial aspects of the law? The non-moral aspects? For they are not related to Christs commandments of love?
I have stated many times that the LAW is the instrument that PROVES the existence of SIN in ALL flesh except for God in Christ.
No flesh shall be justified as LAWFUL under the LAW, but as believers we MUST take the factual conclusions of THAT LAW to find our way TO TRUTH.
The Law is both our schoolmaster AND OUR KILLER, as it was EVER meant to be BY GOD....from the beginning.
The letter of death was ALWAYS MEANT TO KILL. Kill it does and KILL it will continue to do.
Any who believe they can achieve SINLESS PERFECTION by the performance of CARNAL COMMANDS are, sorry, hypocrites and liars.
The Law was given so that we could see WITHIN our hearts and find therein EVIL PRESENT.
Even more, that same LAW still works to AROUSE and EMPOWER that working unto FINAL WRATH.
2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of
an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
2:17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
Or am I a (law) tosser for saying that? Lolz.
I judge NO MAN. All judgment has been given to THE SON.
enjoy!
