side note: I am not you, obviously, but...do you think this blessing might be helpful with your struggles with anxiety? When God blesses me, it soothes my (now, greatly reduced...) inner-turmoil. rejoice and be glad!

I can serve as a supervisor over other cashiers and am considered a leader. Not considered a manager though

Many times anxiety can be triggered from feelings of little to no control. This promotion could give you some sense of control over life. You may thrive. Just don't over compensate. You may see this is a "let's see how she does". Greater things could follow. Prayers for you.
