Hello everyone. First off, I would just like to greet you all in the spirit of love, of peace, harmony, and happiness. Thank you for allowing me to be here and I hope that we have interesting and constructive discussions.
About me. I am a Jedi. I spent my childhood in the SDA church. I rebelled on the basis of OT law. So from there, I went into messianic Judaism and eventually Hebrew Israelite until my wife at the time forced me to consider some things in the bible that I simply could not justify and I started rewiring my brain according to new perspectives I was only able to have once I got free of trying to force everything to conform to truth. Some of you know what I mean.
I became a Jedi because when I looked at what I still believe and how Jediism blends these ideas from different religions, East and West, I found myself resonating more with those ideas and that story of humanity and the power dynamics fighting for control. Although there are Christian Jedi, and that's perfectly fine, I don't call myself one.
I look forward to getting to know other members and challenging and being challenged by different ideas. That's how I learned a great deal about the bible and the motivation for sharing what I've been blessed to learn.
