Hi,
I just joined and I thought I'd tell you all a bit about myself before I start posting. That could be difficult though, since technically I have started posting as soon as I hit the Submit button.
I am a network administrator at an elementary school (grades 1-10) in Reykjavik, Iceland. Although I was born In Iceland to Icelandic parents, I spent most of my youth (aged 4-17) in Tulsa, OK, where my dad taught at the university. I gave my life to Christ at the age of 15 and have been a Christian for the last 37 years. Those of you who are quick at math will have already calculated that I am just a bit over 49 years young. (For those of you not good at math, how much over is irrelevant.)
I have joined a number of Christian forums in the past, but have not continued for various reasons. One forum I belonged to decided to de-emphasize the Christian aspect of the forums and become more secular. They even removed the word "Christian" from their name. The next one I joined just kinda died and the last one I joined just did an "upgrade" and I haven't been able to log in there since. I hope things work out better this time.
