Hello! My name is Vince Massi, and my wife Nancy and I are happily retired in Mexico, although we are both Americans. I taught Christian school for ten years, and I'm happy to have discovered this forum.

It is good to have you here. My daughter and her family just moved back home to Alabama from McAllen, on the border of Reynosa. I must say...I was glad they left that area. Some terrible things were going on.

It's been a long time since I traveled in Mexico but we truly enjoyed it when we did. Stay safe Amigo!

Thank you, Whirlwind. We live in "The Gringo Zone," the largest collection of Americans in the world outside the US. God has blessed us with the opportunity to show Christians cartoons at a Mexican Baptist church on Wednesday nights, and at a Christian orphanage on Sunday Evenings. On Saturday, we pick up a load of kids for "Sunday School" at an Assembly of God church, which we attend on Sunday.

We're both Baptists, and it's a long story, but the Lord is blessing us.

Yes we are! God doesn't care about denominations. It took me several years after becoming a Christian to realize that. He cares about relationships.

My friend Heather makes a good point. Godly Christian groups tend to listen to their own leaders, without realizing that God is working in other groups as well. It is amazing how much you can learn from Godly saints outside your own group.
