you saidSure...
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." {John 3:16)
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Rom 5:8)
"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me." (Gal 2:20)
God is a spirit, so His love can't be "of the flesh".
Jesus walked in skin and bones, but not after the flesh.
So can we.
Not all emotions are "of the flesh".
God is a spirit, so His love can't be "of the flesh".
I said
God's love was in the fact He sent His Own Son to die on the cross. His love was manifested in sending His Son. His love for us was in the Fact that He sent Jesus. It was the act not the notion as you are presenting.
