Happy July 4! :)

(A wish from a Canadian citizen to those south of the border!)

God bless.

Thank you, farouk.

It's such a great feeling, going over the Peace Bridge, to see our American and Canadian flags flying next to each other.

Don't we have nukes pointed at you?

Jethro:

I think you mean, pointed over you...

(I have been to the former missile site in Vermont, where JFK stuck them when Canadian Prime Minister Diefenbaker bought missiles, then arranged for them to be filled with sand, because he didn't like the warhead bit...)

Well, I'm off to enjoy some awesome fireworks set to the background of patriotic music at the park down in town... Love the 4th of July...

I'm dedicating this video to Seaman Robert Watrous and his lovely bride Georgie who married on July 4th because Seaman Watrous thought he had leave (he didn't, but he did have a very forgiving C.O.)

:owell we took jaci to the fireworks she dealt with noises fine and loved it. i had a flashback at the end.a certian type of firework sounded like the dishka. almost wanted to hide.

pray for this. usually if i debrief myself this wont happen. it worked when i watched the passion of the christ. yes i had to desentive myself to the blood. i didnt want to feel the shock of it. that is for another thread.

Happy 4th to everyone!

Just from the few comments I caught it looks as if everyone has enjoyed themselves for the most part.

God bless.

My Bible study group had a float in the parade this year. Being a part of that was fun. We handed out candy and flyers.
Saw the fireworks, as usual, too.
