Where is Pastor Paula White who is Potus spiritual advisor. She or they must teach him how to walk in the spirit and not in the flesh. The law of sin and death is so powerful it can't be stopped by anything except the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1-2)

What exactly do you suppose loving God and neighbor has to do with the comment that I made? Go back to my original comment and read it very very carefully. Read it for what I said, not for what everyone wants it to say.

You will find I did NOT say DO NOT pray for the POTUS. I said I would not waste my time concerning ONE SPECIFIC thing. Is he the Lord's anointed for this time and place? I would say yes. But to what end? Is he like Pharaoh who's self importance and pride made him easy to manipulate, albeit to the destruction of Egypt.

Perhaps he is more like King Saul, when the people demanded for themselves a king to rule over them. He too was tormented by evil spirits and demons. Maybe that is what the OP suggests when he asks if demon spirits have taken over the White House?

So if POTUS is tormented by demon spirits, would it not be a waste of time to pray that he understand God's will? If he is tormented by demon spirits, do you think he could learn to "walk in the spirit" as the author of the OP suggests? If he is tormented by demon spirits, then it is by his own pride. Pray. Yes. Pray that he understands humility. Pray that you understand the Lord's will.

Even as the plagues fell upon Egypt, did Moses continue to pray for Pharaoh? I should imagines so, after all, did he not plead with Pharaoh to find humility, even though Pharaohs heart was hardened, that the Lord's will be done? Pharaoh, even naming his own plague. God's will toward Pharaoh and Egypt was Judgement, death and destruction. God's instruction for those who believed and had faith? Well, I'm pretty sure you know the story.

Considering the things Obama said about those who "cling to their bibles" I always thought there was something spiritually dark about the White House when Obama was in there.

As to the Donald - my jury it still out on him as far as his spiritual walk, beliefs and position go.

But, in the end, NONE of this matters to me. He's the president. So far, I pretty much get uncomfortable when he talks, but when he DOES something, I like what I see. Personally, I have been VERY surprised by him over the past weeks since the election and inauguration.

Life goes on. Oh sure, I like how the market is riding high, but considering that I will be moving my money around in about 5-7 years, in prep for retirement, I'm not so sure what position I'm really in. If the market tanks in the next year or two, that would be wonderful for me. But if it rides high for years and tanks in 6-8 years, I will have to wait out the market's recovery before I move my money around OR take any out.

And my money is all I care about.

I'm left-wing to the max, born and raised, etc. etc. etc., but I am beginning to wonder if Trump is as terrible as he's being made out to be. I'm --not-- fond of him or his more discussed policies, but sometimes I get the sense that if Hilary had gotten the Presidency, or even a more mainline Republican, the media would be softer on her/him than they tend to be on The Donald.

Plus, this "Russia's after us!" hysteria is so bizarre. I mean, I hope its not true. I feel like its a 50s B-movie....

I do not see how a born again Christian can be "left wing to the max" or right wing as far as that goes. I have my opinions, and the Spirit of the Lord lets me know when they are not compatible with the Spirit of Christ. Christ will destroy this government when He returns. We try to support what is good, but most of the time they lie (government) Our trust is in Christ. Most of the left wings doctrines are anti Christ. Same sex marriage, abortion, just to name a few.

These Commands are Spiritual (not carnal) and can not be obeyed by the Adamic nature. The command to love is a test to the born again believer (1 Corinthians chapter 13). This love that the world does not understand is the attribute of God's nature and is received only by that same love upon the repented and regenerated sinner, who in turn broadcast that same love to mankind. You can not love like God ask us from the flesh. if it were so, we would not need a savior. To obey the command of love is to be born again with the new man.

That is absolutely true, my wife and I have a Savings Account and into it goes our excess as a cushion for her to have when I pass because she will loose about half the income we receive right now, she will need it, I don't, I've got her!
