My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, greetings in the most Holy Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
I'm posting this in a hopeful attempt to bring understanding and unity to the Body of Christ. I am not posting this as an indictment against those with whom I have disagreements, or to bring anyone over to my side.
Neither am I making this post to encourage debate, far from it. Debates on this topic will inevitably be divisive and unproductive, and in many cases devolve into harsh disagreement, even to the point of name calling and in some more extreme circumstances, the outright condemnation of anyone who disagrees. These things should not be.
Not all born again believers are Evangelicals. Not all born again believers are dispensational in thought. Not all born again believers are Zionists. Not all born again believers subscribe to the majority view that the people in the Middle East calling themselves Israel, are in fact Israel. Not all born again believers interpret scripture in the same way. But every born again believer is allowed to have a difference of opinion.
Unfortunately, being bold enough to state ones difference of opinion concerning these very important matters, often leads to some pretty nasty arguments and some even nastier accusations. Again, it should not be so with us. Those of us who name the name of Christ, are held to a higher standard.
I am of the opinion that most of these disagreements stem from a serious lack of understanding about what it is that subscribers to the minority view actually believe.
This post is a sincere attempt to inform those who subscribe to the majority view, just what it is that we on the other side actually believe and are attempting to communicate.
In most cases, not all of course, there are bad apples on both sides, we are not haters, we are not antisemitic, but motivated by our love for God, love for our brothers and sisters, and a sincere desire to serve the Body of Christ.
The following video is perhaps the best explanation of where many of us are coming from that I have yet to find on the interwebs. I'm not on board with every conclusion made by the presenters, but its an overall very solid explanation of where many of us on the other side are coming from.
Please prayerfully consider the information presented in the video. While it would be wonderful beyond measure to have my fellow brothers and sisters reconsider their position on this topic, that is not my intention. The intent of this post is to inform, not convert.
I sincerely believe that should a brother or sister take the time to let us speak, to actually listen to what it is we are trying to communicate, without presuming that they have us all figured out already, that the name calling will stop, the tension between both sides will drop, and actual conversations about these pivotal issues will be allowed to begin.
Its a rather long discussion, but it has to be, these are topics of tremendous depth and breadth, they cannot be covered in a sound bite or two. Maybe, just maybe we can all learn a little something from one another. At the very least, we might be able to put an end to the strife between us, which would please our Heavenly Father immensely, and glorify our Beloved Savior, while advancing His holy kingdom.
If you are unwilling to watch or listen, if you have no interest in learning what it is we actually believe versus what we are presumed to believe, then continue as you were. You'll hear no more from me.
This is not a debate thread, please do not attempt to turn it into one.

The Israel of God vs “1948 Israel”
Who is Israel, exactly? This video includes a livestream conversation from Scott Harwell’s channel last week, featuring Jeff Brannon. It was a great discussion, and if you are not familiar with the Tw
