I am sorry. That is roughI'm not sure I was sober even one month, straight, in the ten years after my first wife died.
Thanks. But I haven't had even a sip of wine in more than two years, now. Just figured it was time to stop, even though I really haven't drunk very much in 35 years.I am sorry. That is rough![]()
I don't consider a drink with friends drunk either and I do not think there is anything wrong with that.I would make a horrible alcoholic.I would always be sick.I have been but, depending on your definition of "drunk" not in a long time. Some people claim that even the slightest ingestion of alcohol alters your senses and therefore makes you drunk. I don't buy into that, but it IS some people's idea. I don't drink often and when I do it's usually a small amount socially with friends. I don't consider that as drunk (nor do I consider it sinful like most fundamentalists do). Although I've never been an alcoholic, not even close, I have been the stumbling around, sick to my stomach kind of drunk. But those were rare occasions a long time ago in what seems like another lifetime now! I trust in the forgiveness of the Lord for those times. :yes
LOL! Showed HIM, didn't you???!!!This guy took me out once and his friend thought it was an advantage to the guy I was dating to keep spiking my drink when I was not looking.I vomited in his truck![]()
