Have you ever been drunk?

I know that.i have a personal reason why I eschew beer and being saved had nothing to do with that and still doesn't. its not a temptation to me. im not a legalist or prohibitionist on this. though most don't drink in moderation. my reason is as I said.
Their are good reasons why the Bible says you should not get drunk

ME, I would rather die and be sent to hell then to get drunk, I haven't had one can of beer, I hate beer, and alcohol. when I saw what beer does to men. and what a particular drunk that raped my sister. I decided that isn't what I wanted.

:thumbsup
I hate beer, too. It's a disgusting kind of drink. And I hate men - and women - who get drunk habitually.
Sorry to hear about your sister. I hope God will deal with that individual according to HIS will.

It's awesome you're not drinking at all. While I don't condemn alcohol in moderation (and maybe occasionally without moderation) it's great you keep a sober mind all the time and abstain from that drug.

billy, the man whom raped my sister is no longer an alcoholic he apologized for his crime. there is nothing the state can do to him, there is no evidence, as they didn't get a chance to collect as my sister waited to long. that act was done to her back in the 80's

Funny I only ever get drunk around fellow Christians, but never with my atheist friends. :mischief

Yep. Sorry I mismatch the sterotype. I never worn a lederhosen in my entire life. I've never been to the Oktoberfest. Any more sterotypes that I may crush?

Imagine one of you guys speaking out in favour of healthy eating. I might answer like "You live in America and you hate fast food?"

I don't hate fast food but I don't eat it that much. but then again about sterotypes. I used to eat junk pretty bad and when I went for my physicals in the army. bp below normal 110-90 or lower but not low, resting pulse in the upper 40's and low 50's

I liked those years ago when I first became 21.

My parents tell me the first time I ever got drunk I was three years old. I was raised on a farm in upstate New York, and it was a hot summer day. My Dad, Grandfather's, Uncles, etc.. were over putting a new roof on the barn. The grass in the side yard had just been freshly cut, and I was outside playing with my Tonka truck and loading up grass clippings. Well, apparently I found my Father's full long neck bottle of Budweiser and drank the whole bottle. I guess when my dad discovered his beer bottle empty and nobody seemed to know where I was, they set out looking for me. They found me passed out on the living room couch.
