Have you ever been stood up?

Not that I can remember but there is a time when I stood someone up.. sort of lol

I agreed to go on a date with this guy who worked at the same place my best friend did..

First of all, He brought his friends.. 3 guys they just "happened to be hanging out and he couldn't get rid of them"... whatever..

and then we are watching this movie.. some sci-fi movie (I dont like sci-fi)
and he tries to hold my hand.. i pull it away.. he tries again.. i pull away

then he puts his arm around me.. (dude.. can you NOT get the hint?)
and his friends are looking and laughing and saying aww

and then he keeps asking me if I am watching the movie over and over (which I wasn't cause it was dumb)

about that time, I tell him i have to use the restroom.. get up and walk out of the theater..

I call my mom and tell her to come as quick as she can.. and I stood outside of the theater and like 2 seconds later she was there lol

She is laughing while I tell her what happened and she was like I cant believe you just left..

Well!! Do you blame me??? lol I know it was rude and I shouldn't have done it but lesson learned..

dont wait until halfway through the movie to ditch your date

Nope. The perk of not dating much in my life is that I only dated gals who I knew had some interest in me, and hence would not stand me up.

I would have done the same thing! He was disrespectful in the first place by bringing his cohorts.

I have never been stood up either, but if I had been I'm sure it would be for the best anyway. I mean, better to find out who the person really is before you even date them right? :)
