aaaawww :headphones My sister played that song over and over again-we have the soundtrack-so it's hard to imagine what is sad about the little cub looking forward to a bright future. There are many sad songs on the soundtrack. The movie reflects the journey of life and growth. I always thought, wow, is this geared towards children only? So many adults loved the movie too. I saw the broadway play version and didn't feel quite the same effect as the movie. I was a little older then though.

maybe it's not sad....it just moves me.

If you've ever sung in a massive stadium with 3500 other Christians the song Hosanna, you'll know what I'm talking about. It's not that it's sad, it's just emotional.

Here is Hosanna btw - awesome.

This might be going a bit off topic, but I love this one as well.

God Bless Nick...What a wonderful way to get my day started. Thank you :thumb

I find the part where Symba and his new little girlfriend meet for the first time in years! The song "can you feel the love tonight" plays. And isnt that so sad?

Yes, that is one of the sad (but uplifting) songs. I love that soundtrack...off to you tube :-)
