I don't believe I have ever prayed by candlelight. However, during Christmas Eve services at church, we sing "Silent Night, Holy Night" by candlelight.

Yes, years ago when I was in the Cathloic religion.

Now, I'm at a non-demoniational church they don't do those kinds of rituals.

We've done that a couple of times, right out on the front lawn of the church. It has everything to do with Mat 5:14 and nothing to do with rituals... the same thing with Christmas Eve candlelight service. Light of the World, light of the world.
