Do girls like to kiss on the first date? Is it Biblical? Should it be allowed?

and does having buck teeth make a guy less attractive? :D

I think it really depends on the girl. I recently made a vow to God that I wouldn't kiss anyone again until I was sure I had found the one the Lord has for me (Which hasn't been a problem because I don't date much, but if I start dating soon it may be tough....but life's no fun without a few good challenges!) But even when before I made that vow I was never really into kissing on the first date. I always liked waiting because the anticipation made the first kiss MUCH better than if it had happened really soon.

As far as it being biblical I don't really know the answer to your question. I guess you have to go with where you feel God wants your boundaries to be. I don't think kissing is wrong by any measure as long as it doesn't cause you to stumble into lust and you still respect the girl you're with.

Of course it's biblical. 2 Corinthians 13 v 12: "Greet one another with a holy kiss."
How can it not be allowed? It's a demonstration of love isn't it? It's a command to love our neighbour as ourselves. Why would showing our love in that way be wrong? There's no law against love. (Galatians 5 v 23)

I am not talking about a Holy kiss. I am talking about making out or french kissing.

Holy kisses are ALWAYS okay with me! :D Making out and stuff just tends to get out of hand too easily...

Good for you! :) I would rather cuddle on the first date and watch a movie. :yes But, that can be tempting too, if you aren't careful.

Timothy's and my first date wasn't what most would consider a "date", but it was special to me. It was visitation night at his dorm and so we just sat on the couch in his lobby and watched a movie. The work-study student was there the whole time, and I'm sure she wondered what nerds we were because we just sat on opposite sides of the couch and talked for hours, learning about each others family, childhood, etc... But honestly, our first several weeks were like that, and we didn't even kiss once until over a month into being committed to one another. I really appreciated him for that, it said a lot about his character and intentions :heart
