Having a presence

humble soul

I sometimes envy people with a "presence". You know. Aura. Charm. Walking in the room and getting noticed. They have power. It might be the devil's power but still. Magnetic personalities I guess. Partly good looks but also ability to impress.
Now this probably all sounds very immature for an old man like me to write. And unchristian too, right? We suppose to have a Jesus presence. Low key humble presence. Maybe the very opposite of charming I suppose. Though I imagine the real Jesus did have charisma. Popular with women too. Just the long hair hippie style images we see of him. But I wonder that cool hippie image is at odds with being humble. I'm feeling confused right now. I think I will stop right there.

There was this lothario con man from England recently. He charmed women and men. He used his "presence" for evil gain.
He had no guilt.
He had no qualms of fooling his own parents to part with their money.
There are comparisons with serial killers in my view. They suffer no guilt. They forget quickly. No remorse. No regrets. No empathy for victims. This might be the single worst trait of evil. They continue a trail of destruction without losing sleep. They are amoral.

I would rather be a wall flower and just let the light of Christ shine through me as then people would see Christ and not me. As far as what Jesus looked liked scripture says he was just an ordinary looking man with no great looks.

Isa 53:1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?
Isa 53:2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
Isa 53:3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
Isa 53:4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
Isa 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
