I have a bunch of books I'd like to cover here, but I'm going to limit this thread to just one:
He Came To Set The Captives Free
by Dr. Rebecca Brown
An eye opener.
This book by a medical doctor (and the woman she rescued) is about her work to help a satanic high priestess escape one of the worst covens in the United States.
This is probably the most enlightening book you'll come across with regard to spiritual warfare on the front lines. If you are fainthearted with regard to hardcore satanic activities, you may want to pass it up. Even though I got really angry over the heartless practices of this group, I was still drawn to re-read the book because it spoke so much to me about the reality of spiritual things and the assault on churches which are well cloaked. The ex-high preistess wrote her share of the book also, so you're getting it from the horse's mouth. Also, this shows people that those who have been deep into satanism pay a high price to get out, and those who help risk their lives. Things that people write off as mystical or mythical, are dealt with firsthand in this book explaining what operates behind the scenes.
After reading it, you'll probably want to contact this lady, but she would not reveal her location due to becoming a target by the coven again. She does have a website now, though.
She also has a sequel to the book that brings much more to light:
Prepare for War
by Dr. Rebecca Brown
She includes other instances that ocurred as well as a great deal of insight in the deceptions of spiritists. This includes cautions for us in our spiritual walk and the pitfalls out there.
