He Ripped Off My Mom

I take my moms 2000 Taurus that I took her right outside New York in East Brunswick N.J. to buy a couple of years ago. But anyway it was summer and I did not try the heat, well when winter came, I find out that the heater core is bad. And to get to it you have to remove the dash board and that is a real pain in the rear to do. well anyway I take it to my Dad's mechanic and he tells us that he put in a heater core and my mom paid hundreds of bucks. Only for the heat to go out again a year later a month ago. come to find out he did not change the heater core. And we have the receipt saying that he did. The new mechanic knew he didn't before he took the dash board out, because certain things were still the way they came out of the factory. And I have the old heater core and the receipt and I am contacting the Better Business Bureau tomorrow. That is a shame how you can just take peoples money like that. I am not going to let him get away with it.

actually i believe in florida that is a criminal act. we did a sting here with a shop. we disabled a car and told the cops what was wrong and then they took it to the shop and complained what it was doing and then the shop said they fixed it and the cops took back to us and then baam the hammer came down.

the owner and the shop have been closed since.

i suggest going to the law and let them handle it. im sure they aint the only ones that have been stiffed.

I am trying Jason, I am starting off with the Better Business Bureau. Because the first thing that he is going to do is deny it. so it is best that I go by the law. It is a crime to do that here in Pennsylvania too. Some years back they stung a whole lot of them and chop shops. But anyway I think you are supposed to file a complaint with the police also. Now this is supposed to be my dad's friend and my dad is in Florida and will be back tomorrow, so before I do anything I will see what my dad does first.
