Jeremiah 14:13 Then said I, "Ah, Lord GOD! behold, the prophets say unto them, 'Ye shall not see the sword, neither shall ye have famine; but I will give you assured peace in this place.' "

The prophets, not God, tells us TODAY...."you'll be flown away. You won't see the time of tribulation." They don't teach that the "famine" of end times is....for hearing the Word of God [Amos 8:11] And what did our Father reply to this?

14:14 Then the LORD said unto me, "The prophets prophesy lies in My name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.

God didn't send them, He doesn't speak to them, He didn't command them and....they LIE in His name (calling themselves Christian). They lie about end times...the time of tribulation. They tell us we won't see the "sword or famine" because we'll be gone. :nono :verysad

There are two swords. The fake does and will speak using God's S-word but it will be twisted. That is why there is now and will be a famine for "hearing" God's true Word. We can read them but we won't hear them.

14:15 Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that prophesy in My name, and I sent them not, yet they say, 'Sword and famine shall not be in this land;' By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed.

14:16 And the People to whom they prophesy shall be cast out in the streets of Jerusalem because of the famine and the sword; and they shall have none to bury them, them, their wives, nor their sons, nor their daughters: for I will pour their wickedness upon them.

Not only the false prophets but those that listen to them and accept what they are taught, will have "their wickedness" poured on them. :shame There will be no excuses such as...."But, I sat in church each week listening to our preacher. I sang the songs, prayed the prayers and believed what the "man of God" taught. He told us we would be raptured and wouldn't be here for the tribulation. Is it my fault I followed the fake christ? " His answer is written..."I will pour their wickedness upon them." :(

14:17 Therefore thou shalt say this word unto them; 'Let mine eyes run down with tears night and day, and let them not cease: for the virgin daughter of My People is broken with a great breach, with a very grievous blow.

He weeps for His bride.

TODAY the doctrine of 'prosperity' and 'humanitarian benevolence', is called Christianity. People who "PAY" or "send money" to the ones preaching these doctrines, are promised exemption from the coming tribulation. Through either guilt, or fear, or hope of reward, the innocent, the ignorant etc., are caught up in these doctrines, seeking to PAY for the promised exemption!

Isa 4:1 And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man,
saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel:
only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach. KJV

I see that as the day of Satan's tribulation. The "seven women" are the seven churches...all believers but.... :shame The "man" they "take hold of" of course isn't our Savior but is the fake. The bread they eat isn't manna but is the word of man, from those you write of above....false doctrine. They are called Christian but their apparel won't be fine white linen.

You are right Ret for among them are the innocent and ignorant. But, there are many times God's Words showing the true way are given and still....they listen to man.

It is sad indeed, Jesus once told the Jews, about the Pharisees who sit on Moises seat and teach Moises, Jesus tells to listen to them but to not be like them.

Another reason why teachers will be judged more severely then the followers.
