He Won't Do That Again

I'm thinking this is a case of "Watch this, hold my beer."

For sure, he won't be doing that again?
Play with fire, sooner or later, you get burnt.
Beer and fireworks don't mix.

This reminded me of the death of actor John Hexum back in the 80's. He wasn't drinking or even being all that irresponsible.

Bored and cutting up before a film shoot he put what he thought was an emptied by him, blank pistol to his head and fired it. One blank was in the gun and at that range, they evidently can do damage.

For sure, he won't be doing that again?

Agree, and anything at all with dangerous potential...just don't.

Ahh, thanks brother. I was about to go do something like that but you've warned me off... (not really, lol)

What you've said is "common sense" where I come from. Ya' just didn't have to warn people like that...but, times, they are a changing.

The stuff those kids do for the youtube videos...wow. not in a gazillion years.

Unrelated at first to this article, I Googled to see if a couple old co-workers of mine had been involved in a fireworks display presented every year only walking distance from my parents' condo. They were both professional pyro-technicians (and identical twin brothers). I was horrified to find out that one of them had been killed in a fireworks accident only last year. They had been legally transporting commercial-grade pyro-rigs when a rock-damaged catalytic converter set off the charges in the trunk. One of the brothers (the one I knew not as well) sustained burns that would kill him days later. The other barely had injuries at all (at least physically).

You just don't know when the Lord will call. Be ready at any given time. (He was a very good guy, btw, with a wife and family, and almost inseparable from his twin sibling in life, who shared very similar passions).

Hey Lewis how are you' what you doing in the Empire State building nothing want to see something great, hold my vodka

The article on the upset father? The man is in very bad shape now, and wrong or right, I wouldn't expect him to say his son wasn't too bright but just what he did. And that's not to say what he said doesn't have some validity. Highly regulated in my state, so I'm no expert, but it sounds like some of that stuff, like what the son used, is pretty powerful.
