Hi everyone,

I am praying that everyone please lift up our daughter, Arianna. She has a heart murmur that has caused our doctor to be very concerned. We are taking her in for some tests on the 19th. Please pray as the Lord leads you to. It is so hard sometimes to place our children in God's hands and leave them there...I pray that Michael and I are able to do that without doubt or fear. I praise Him that this was found, and that we have the technology to deal with it. We desire your prayers for the situation, thank you, and the Lord bless you.

Prayers for all of you

Keeping all of you in my thoughts & prayers for Gods' strength & courage for both parents & prayers also for your daughters healing.
(My brother had a heart murmur when he was small & his has been healed & he's fine today) There's a lot Doctors can do now days in situations like this. Keep your faith. God Bless.

We will add her to our prayer list tonight, Tina. How is she handling this?

I pray it will turn out like my sister's diagnosis a while back; she has been living with her murmur for 35 years now. The only thing she was asked to do lately was to stay away from anything with caffeine.
 
Rosalee, thank you...you are such a prayer warrior here. I am thankful that you are on this forum, and the fact that your brother has been healed is very encouraging.

Thanks to you and your family for adding her on your prayer list. She is very inquisitive about everything, but she doesn't seem worried. Actually, she seems a little excited about the extra attention she is getting. :-D The boys have already tried to keep her from tree climbing, and other activities, and she feels special because of their extra protections...even though she ignores them. :wink: I think the day of the test we will see true fear possibly, but with her I don't know for sure...she has a very outgoing brave nature. I showed her a picture of the human heart in a pop up book we have, and let her listen to a heart murmur audio I found online, and gave her an opportunity to ask some questions, but she just wanted to hear the audio over and over...while giggling with her brothers. :-? :D Since then, she has asked me things like, "Can I run a race if I have a heart murmur?" or, my favorite, "Can I do chores if I have a heart murmur?" lol :D I think you can see that I have my hands full with her, but she is very wonderful to me. Overall, so far, she is doing very well with the information she knows. Thanks again, and the Lord bless you...you too Rosalee.

I have just finished praying for your family and will keep u folks in my prayers...I too have been living with a heart mummer for the past 8 years...God is good and God still heals today... Blessings,

She will be in my prayers, Lovely.

I have mitral valve prolapes (diagnosed after dr heard the murmur and I had an echocardiogram performed) . The only real effects it has on me is that I tire easily. I also get extremely out of breath when I try to exercise (although, exerise is GOOD and can heal the problem). I also have to take a large dose of antibiotics when I have any kind of dental work performed.

lovely, I will keep Arianna in my prayers, and you as well. It must be so difficult for you and your husband...
May God comfort you during this difficult time.

You guys, thanks so much for praying. Ari's tests went well...I think the children actually enjoyed the visit to the hopsital. :-D Ari was given a number of stickers, and daddy bought her a sucker. She felt very special. Now, we are waiting on the results. I will update. Thanks to you all for your prayers.

Often folks forget that being a part of Gods family is not only in sharing one another's burdens and praying for one another, but sharing in the Joy that Christ Jesus brings between us...When one part of the body hurts, we all hurt, when one body is happy, we are happy....

Hi everyone,

Well, we were contacted earlier this week, and the cardiologist wants to see Ari again, and do more testing. I don't know what all of this means yet, but I trust God's plan. Thanks for the prayers.
 
Hi everyone,

Well, we saw our primary care doctor, and we know that Ari has Aortic Stenosis...a narrowing of the aorta. We are not sure why, or what the specific issue is with the valve, but generally this is the diagnosis until we have a more detailed discussion with the specialist. Please pray that God heal her, protect her, and give her the strength to endure whatever is coming her way.
