Hello brothers and sisters on Christian forums. I am a former Hindu who after years of spiritual and religious seeking came to Christ and accepted Him. Throughout my search I was interested primarily in Hinduism in all its different forms, Christianity, and Islam. After a lot of research coming from reading, watching lectures, etc. I came to Christianity primarily from the lectures and reasonings of Ravi Zacharias and Michael Ramsden. The ideas of purpose in our lives and that God calls us to different things and gives us different gifts really spoke to me coming from a faith where the highest philosophies talk about the need to be detached from all that is specific to "this life" (since they believe in reincarnation). I hope to learn a lot from all of you through participation in this forum and hopefully I'll be able to teach some of you and thing or two as well.
