Hello from England

Hello, Book Keeper, I am so pleased to welcome you to our forum. Yes, there is a fine atmosphere here in which we are encouraged to share and discuss without getting into big arguments over various issues. And people here do pray for and support one another.

My favorite "Sherlock" is also Jeremy Brett.

Breaking out in spots is an allergic reaction to consuming alcoholic beverages.
I've heard it happens to many people.

People start drinking and they break out in Tulsa, Atlanta, or even Boise...

Gotta be careful...
That use to happen to me when I used angelndust. What’s a few states distance when your having more fun than you can remember!

Thank you for your warm welcome. Arguments over specifics are often the very foundation of many hostilities; it is always wiser and courteous to encourage growth than discourage travelling a different path.

It's impressive to see how many Jeremy Brett fan there are here; I must confess, I thought many would prefer the modern works of Benedict Cumberbatch, however I remain pleasantly surprised.

Now I'm feeling a bit embarrassed that I actually do prefer Cumberbatch. :blush

As talented as Benedict is I prefer the original, period based, series myself. Also, the Robert Downey Jr version is ok, but nothing compares to Jeremy Brett.

I agree; my second favourite would be Robert Downey Jr, however you cannot beat the charm that Jeremy Brett brought to the detective.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with that; I think many prefer the classic works. Don't get me wrong, I think Cumberbatch did a great job alongside Law, and there's a huge following in this part of Cumberbatch's work.

Hello everyone,

This looks like a great forum! I have spent a few hours looking around the forum to understand the working and the membership; I have to say, this looks like a cleanly run site. Too many Christian sites nowadays have become lost in their purpose, however its refreshing to see this forum has remained clear in its true purpose.

I am a devout Christian since childhood; we all need Christ in our lives, otherwise there is a void. I enjoy literature, reading, video games and participating in lively debates. The latter I reserve for sites which have looser rules; this, I'm sure, will allow the moderators to breath a sigh of relief.

Anyway, I'm going to continue browsing the current discussions whilst enjoying my hot chocolate! I hope to see you all around soon!
Love me some UK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! welcome bro!!!!!!!
