Hello from India

Have you ever read any books by Vishal Mangalwadi?
Vishal Mangalwadi (1949-) is an international lecturer, social reformer, cultural and political columnist, and author of thirteen books. Born and raised in India, he studied philosophy at universities, in Hindu ashrams, and at L’Abri Fellowship in Switzerland. In 1976 he turned down several job offers in the West to return to India where he and his wife, Ruth, founded a community to serve the rural poor. Vishal continued his involvement in community development serving at the headquarters of two national political parties, where he worked for the empowerment and liberation of peasants and the lower castes.

His first book, The World of Gurus, was published in 1977 by India's Vikas Publishing House, and serialized in India’s then-largest weekly, Sunday. It is still used as a text book in universities. It was Mangalwadi’s book on the New Age Movement and India: The Grand Experiment, that first brought his works to the attention of the American public. In demand worldwide, Vishal is a dynamic and engaging speaker who has lectured in 34 countries. He enjoys simplifying complex ideas and inspiring despairing hearts with hope.

His book: "The Book that Made Your World: How the Bible Created the Soul of Western Civilization" is one of the best book I have read in a long time.
 
This year 2021 I accepted Jesus as savior And I My first language is Marathi.I came here to find information about the Holy Spirit.I give the good news that The Holy Spirit appeared to me.

I don't know what my Christian denomination is, I know very little about Christianity, I was a Hindu but I love Christianity so much that I saw on the internet that Jesus died for sin. Jesus rose from the dead on the third day, I can't go to church.

I don't understand some English words of the Bible.
I know some words of this holy bible. But I don't understand in English. I read a little, I use google translate or online

I can read, write and speak Marathi as my mother tongue.

But can read a few words of English but can not speak and write. That is, grammar cannot be written with hands.

The Holy Spirit will teach you.

Ask God for wisdom, in Jesus name, and He will give you wisdom about many things.

Hi siddhi koli

Christianity has no denominations as we are one body in Christ with He being the head of His body. I'm sorry it is hard for you to go to church as I know how Hindu's persecute Christians and go as far as burning down their churches and burning their Bibles. It's good that you have internet and have found this Christian forum. There are three forums here you can use to help you learn as you can ask us anything in order to help you learn.

Questions & Answers, Christian Talk & Advice, and Biblical Growth & Study are three forums here that can help you learn. If there is something you do not understand that can't be translated in your language we will try to keep our responses as simple as we can. If you do have a Bible I would suggest reading the Book of John and the book of Acts as this will help you know more about Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
